Due Iranian missile attacks targeting American bases in the Middle East many nations are closing their civilian airspaces until further notice.

United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar has taken such measures today due to the conflict between the U.S., Israel and Iran in the region.

Iran targeted the Al Udeid US military base in Doha this afternoon with a missile attack. Word is that Qatar’s air defenses intercepted the missiles and there are no injuries or casualties.

Regional air and defense authorities will reassess the situation in the proceeding hours and days. Until then travelers face flights being diverted, canceled or indefinitely delayed.

Both Night of Champions and this week’s edition of Smackdown are to originate from Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Word is some WWE production crew is already on site working while others are currently stranded at a Qatar airport. Qatar is Saudi Arabia’s next door neighbor.

The rising tensions and military operations in the region have some fans asking WWE to postpone or delay the event entirely.

Slam Wrestling has reached out to WWE for comment but has not received a response as of press time.
