WWE held its SummerSlam Kickoff Show from Fanatics Fest on Saturday. Like the usual WWE Kick0ff shows and pressers, there sure was a lot of talking but not a lot of action.

WWE did post a clip though of Seth Rollins getting into a stare down with Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and then him and CM Punk getting into some pushing and shoving on an entrance ramp as the crowd chanted “CM Punk! CM Punk!”.

When asked about it during the SummerSlam Kickoff Show, Cena brushed it off.

“I think you are throwing around the word ‘altercation’ quite loosely. I was enjoying myself at the Fanatics Fest entrance way but I wasn’t the only one enjoying myself. If you want to see what I am talking about go watch the video,” he said.

Cena then went on to deflect question after question citing he didn’t want to give away any spoilers.

“We have a riveting television program and you are asking me for spoilers? I am not going to give a single one out. You will have to watch the show and figure out how that turns out,” he said. “Watch it play out on TV. You are getting nothing.”

Seth Rollins interrupted Jey Uso’s interview time. He came out with Bron Breakker who was carrying his Money in the Bank briefcase. He flew around around Jey like an airplane, for some reason, as they played his theme.

“Jey Uso has heart. Jey Uso has grit. He’s got fight. He’s got soul and he very well be the next World Heavyweight Champion before I become the next WWE World Champion because I have an insurance policy because I am the greatest professional wrestler who ever lived,” said Rollins before leaving the stage.

Later, CM Punk was asked about both Cena and Rollins.

“Both those guys are always copying me. I am a real trend-setter,” he said.

He responded to Cena’s version of the ‘Pipe Bomb’ last night on Smackdown.

“People coming out and lying about me on national television doesn’t make it true. He only said one true thing about me last night and that he is jealous of me and it doesn’t seem to make sense because he is the Greatest of All Time and a 17-time world champion,” he said.
