All Elite Wrestling has been booking solely with the sickos in mind in 2025. Tonight brings us another 4-hour live event, live from the City of Roses. They event is being held at the Theater of the Clouds at the Moda Center.
Some of us might need some coffee to get through this one, like last week. Others might tough it out. Hopefully your bosses understand why you may be a bit sluggish at the office tomorrow.
Let’s get to it, fellow sickos!
As “Hangman” Adam Page comes to the arena, a figure dressed in all-black turns his attention to the Cowboy. It’s none other than AEW Men’s World Champion Jon Moxley.
I like how they put the commentary desk in camera view this week. Looks great on TV.
1. Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland
I mean, why not start off with the biggest clash of the evening? If you remember, these two tore the house down at Forbidden Door on June 30 of last year. Strickland pulled out the win in a great match.
The two start off with a handshake and the camera picks up on Swerve saying “I love you, bro” to his opponent. The respect is mutual, despite what may have gone down between them in previous weeks.
But as soon as the bell rings, the two throw down in a way very few wrestlers on planet Earth can.

Not to be outdone, The Aerial Assassin counters!
BRUV! This is Bonkers!

Swerve fights out of a Styles Clash and counters with a textbook Dead Eye. Ospreay kicks out and gathers enough momentum for a Hidden Blade. Strickland kicks out. Both wrestlers are spent after so much punishing action.
Ospreay hits a Storm Breaker but Strickland kicks out. The two go back and forth, reaching the 30-minute time limit.
This match ends in a draw.
Swerve grabs a mic and immediately says he’s “in so much pain right now”. Win or lose, finishing matches is the only way to give your best. Strickland calls for Sudden Death overtime right before the Death Riders make their presence known.
They surround the ring and the Young Bucks jump Swerve from behind. They hit the EVP Trigger. Prince Nana gets a superkick from Nicholas for trying to save Strickland.
They handcuff his wrists to the ropes and tee off with Superkicks. Moxley and the Riders look on from ringside. Matthew pulls out one of Swerve’s custom Allen Iverson Reeboks (the same ones he used at Anarchy).
Will Ospreay jumps in front of Swerve and takes the kicks. Talk about respect for his opponent.

The Young Bucks seem to have some remorse as they walk away.
Renee is backstage with AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada. They get interrupted by Don Callis, who campaigns for Kyle Fletcher or Konosuke Takeshita. Lance Archer, Kyle Fletcher, and Konosuke Takeshita are quickly on the scene. After weeks of teasing it in his promos, Okada calls Callis a “bitch” and walks away.
MVP and The Hurt Syndicate are backstage, having unmasked one of their opponents tonight. He will be replaced by Mascara Dorada.

2. Mistico vs. Blake Christian
Mistico goes for a handshake but Christian flips the bird at him.
Mistico hits a beautiful Escalara and follows up with a Tope Suicida. Lee Johnson sneaks in and distracts Mistico just long enough for Christian to capitalize and hit a 450 Splash. He kicks out.
Winner: Mistico.
The Hurt Syndicate come out and Mistico looks ready. But that’s a numbers game. MVP says MJF has a message for the “cabron” in the ring. MJF grants Mistico next week in Mexico and MJF says a lot of stuff that I won’t repeat here, stuff about America.
Mistico gets the mic from him and says some stuff about MJF’s mother. A beatdown ensues. JetSpeed and Mascara Dorada make the save. This works well because up next is…
3. The Hurt Syndicate vs. JetSpeed and Mascara Dorada
The Hurt Syndicate make their Trios debut.
Let’s hope the match ends better for him than this move did:

“Speedball” Mike Bailey takes a lot of punishment from The Hurt Syndicate and eats the pin.
Winners: The Hurt Syndicate.
The beatdown continues and Mascara Dorada gets unmasked by MJF. Mistico comes out of nowhere and secures an arm lock on MJF.
“Hangman” Adam Page gets attacked by the Death Riders as he’s set to come to the ring to speak. His mouth is duct-taped and his arms are tied behind his back.
Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta hold him as Marina Shafir holds the briefcase. Moxley has a mic and goes on about how he doesn’t like his All In challenger. He mentions that Page has four weeks to step up and be the man Moxley can respect in the ring.
Page headbutts Moxley and the Riders snap. The Opps make the save and Page vows to take the heads off the Death Riders. He grabs a chair and walks off after them.
4. Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford vs. TayJay
Fresh off saving Anna Jay last week, Tay Melo reunites with her tag-team partner after a lengthy hiatus.
TAYJAY IS BACK!

Despite Megan Bayne’s strength inevitably taking over the match, Tay Melo hits three solid shots and gets Anna Jay ready for a cross-body dive onto Bayne. Ford counters and takes out both opponents with a dive of her own.
With Jay across her back, Bayne catches Melo in front. She hits both with a Fallaway Slam.

Melo hits Ford with a massive shot as Jay had Bayne tied up.
Winner: TayJay.
A lengthy promo package airs for the storied Omega / Okada rivalry that goes back almost a decade. If you’re unfamiliar with this epic feud, do yourself a favor and watch some (or all).
The belts will be unified and it is a beautiful piece of art. Omega hints this may be their final match against one another. The two shake hands and get interrupted by Don Callis.
Cue the familiar chant. Callis says Takeshita or Fletcher. Omega stops him. He’s beaten them. He says he knows all of Callis’ tricks.
Callis has one more trick. Okada jumps Omega from behind and beats him up with a baton. “You sold out” and “bitch” chants ring out. Omega is put on a stretcher.
