Speaking to The Rise Guys podcast, Bret Hart didn’t mince his words in speaking about his former boss Vince McMahon.

In the interview, Hart accused McMahon of using his position in the WWE to manipulate people.

“I have had ups and downs with Vince McMahon and in a lot of ways I have a lot of respect for him but at the same time I find what happened there inexcusable, there is no place for that. I think Vince McMahon became a predator. He used wrestling as his backdrop for all of his evil. It just tells me too much money can turn you into a bad person,” he said.

An recognized artist himself, Hart has thought about drawing the entire drama out.

“I immediately thought and I still do, I should draw it all in a blackboard drawing. I would love to draw some of that for the wrestlers in the dressing room….Everything that happened. John Laurinaitis and the things they were doing to that poor girl. Shame on all of them. That’s just terrible,” he said.

Hart explained that from what he has heard WWE is a far better working environment with McMahon gone.

“Vince has a great mind. From what I gather talking to younger wrestlers that are in WWE today that Vince became a big obstacle in getting things done at the end. He almost became too much of a tyrant. He was unhappy with what everyone was doing. He would scrub ideas midway through a show. A lot of people tell me that since the say he left it has been tranquil and business has been better. Everyone has a better attitude. Vince may have just burned himself out. I mean, how many ideas can a guy come up with in wrestling when it comes to storylines and stuff,” he said.

Despite rumours floating around ever since his infamous departure from WWE, Hart doesn’t think McMahon will start his own wrestling promotion from scratch.

“Only if he buys another business. He’s got enough money. I heard something about him and Hulk Hogan opening up some kind of wrestling company. I don’t have a lot of faith in that match-up,” he said.

Former WWE employee Janel Grant has filed a federal lawsuit alleging that McMahon engaged in sexual assault and sex trafficking. She is suing McMahon and the WWE. McMahon has denied all charges and allegations.
