Vince McMahon has no interest in starting his own wrestling promotion.
That’s what Shane McMahon told TMZ in a recent interview.
When asked about his father’s intentions, Shane replied: “You never know what’s going to happen out there. Of course, anything can happen in WWE but those rumors are false.”
McMahon then quickly added: “If you know my dad, he’s gung ho, always doing the next thing and that’s what he’s focused on.”
It was widely reported earlier this week that McMahon’s new company is 14TH & I and will be “pursuing opportunities in sports, media and entertainment”.
When addressing his infamous meeting with AEW’s Tony Khan, Shane said: “Had a meeting with AEW and wished them continued success but it’s not WWE, it’s not the company that I helped build. But you never know what’s going to happen in this business.”
