It took Ryusuke Taguchi only seven seconds to beat Sho at night four of NJPW’s Best of the Super Junior tournament.
Taguchi came to the ring drinking something or other. The bottle was chained to his neck for some reason but that’s Taguchi for yah! He took a big swig of whatever it was and started chasing Sho around the ring. They ran all the way to the entrance way. Yujiro Takahashi came through the curtain with his cane. Sho laughed and smiled behind him. Taguchi took off through the crowd. Yujiro chased him as Sho distracted the official by removing one of the turnbuckle pads.
As Taguchi opened an arena door Sanada walked through. Taguchi was trapped between Sanada and Yujiro in the stands. Taguchi took off his shirt and dared them to attack. So, they did. Taguchi ducked and Sanada ended up kicking Yujiro instead. He then took Yujiro’s cane and low-blowed them both with it. Sho chased Taguchi back to the ring. When both men were back in the ring the official rang the bell to start the match. Sho charged at Taguchi. Taguchi pushed Sho into the exposed buckle. Sho hit head-first knocking himself out. Taguchi rolled him up for the pin in seven seconds flat.
Taguchi mocked Sho by dancing around with Yujiro’s cane in the ring. As Sho made his way back into the ring Taguchi kicked the ropes which hit Sho in the “lower abdomen’ stopping him in his tracks. Taguchi did the same in succession to Yujiro and Sanada as they attempted to surround him.
