It wouldn’t be a WrestleMania hangover if there weren’t any WWE releases.
Today, WWE has officially let go of the following talent:
Shayna Baszler
Baszler’s last major appearance was at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII where she beat Konami from Stardom. Her last appearance for WWE was during the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title #1 Contendership Gauntlet Match before WrestleMania where she competed with her Pure Fusion Collective Partner Zoey Stark. The leader of the faction, Sonya Deville, was not resigned by WWE in February.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter
The tag team tore it up in NXT but drifted after a brief main roster push. Their last match was also in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title #1 Contendership Gauntlet Match before WrestleMania.
Dakota Kai
With Asuka’s injury and Iyo Sky wrestling on her own as the Women’s World Champion, Kai got a recent singles push but she has been hampered by knee injuries throughout her time in WWE.
Braun Strowman
Right before WrestleMania Strowman was in a major angle, feud with Jacob Fatu to the point that it was thought they would do battle at Mania. He last match was before WrestleMania when he and LA Knight beat Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa on Smackdown.
Cora Jade
Just recently came back from a four month hiatus in NXT to team with Roxanne Perez, made appearances in TNA in January and at Sacrifice she failed to be Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
Thankful for all the childhood dreams I got to live out! I have a lot to say in due time. Stay tuned xoxo

Gigi Dolan
A very odd release considering she was just having a successful tag team run with Tatum Paxley. They even appeared and wrestled on TNA television. At NXT Stand & Deliver they wona Fatal four-way tag team elimination match to become the #1 contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship but didn’t defeat Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the titles on the April 22 episode of NXT.
Eddy Thorpe
Eddy began as a face in NXT but was soon made a heel who feuded with Trick Williams and even beat him in a strap match during his first PLE appearance ever at NXT Vengeance Day. Thorpe lost the follow-up Underground match though in March.

Gallus (Joe and Mark Coffey and Wolfgang)
They have had less and less prominence on NXT television as their stint went on. Their last televised match on NXT television was last December in which they failed to defeat Axiom & Nathan Frazer for their NXT Tag Team Championships.
