The multiple-night extravaganza continued with NXT in Fontainebleau Las Vegas, where shows like the Roast of WrestleMania and the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony took place. Vic Joseph mentioned Booker T sleeping in the auditorium on Friday night, and tonight’s NXT audience was half asleep as the greener grass dried out with them.

The Judgment Day (c) vs Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez regained their titles on Monday Night Raw against Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch, who briefly won them at WrestleMania Sunday. Tonight’s match is bluntly an exhibition for the four-time champions, and the audience treats it as such. Paxley hits an outside moonsault before break, and Dolin makes a comeback thereafter. A series of tags later, Rodriguez hits the Tejana Bomb, and Morgan hits Oblivion on Dolin for the expected victory.

Winners: The Judgment Day

Footage from earlier shows Lexis King pleading for his Heritage Cup back from Penn & Teller. Penn issues two requirements: King admits that magic is real and defends the cup tonight against a “surprise” known only by the former. In one of the better instances of corporate synergy, Vic Joseph plugs “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” on The CW.

The prohibited portal opens again with footage from GCW Bloodsport over the weekend. Myles Borne watches the replay of fellow No Quarter Catch Crew members Charlie Dempsey and Tavion Heights in action when Darkstate steps in. Je’Von Evans backs up Borne, who offers up a tag team match against the opposition.

Nobody exudes the bright lights of Las Vegas like North American Champion Ricky Saints. In-ring, he celebrates defeating rival Ethan Page when King interrupts – calling Saints smug and the audience gullible. King proposes a double-title match next week, and Saints agrees before officials separate them

In the back, new champions Sol Ruca, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger are greeted by Thea Hail. Jaida Parker and Kehlani Jordan are real for shunning the annoying energy, and Fatal Influence bicker over who gets to shut Hail up.

Lexis King (c) vs Noam Dar – Heritage Cup Championship

“Welcome back” chants echo towards Dar, who returns after an 11-month hiatus courtesy of Ethan Page. Dar previously held the cup for 790 days, which under King has turned into a silver shell of itself. The challenger’s offense is speedy and crisp per usual, and a spinning back elbow leads to victory. Now a four-time champion, Dar and Meta-Four will hopefully continue where they left off.

Winner: Noam Dar

Roxanne Perez is interviewed backstage about interfering in Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer’s match on Monday Night Raw. She claims Vaquer isn’t at 100% and vows to become a three-time NXT Women’s Champion by tonight.

Fallon Henley vs Thea Hail

Chase University is dearly missed. Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence spectate ringside, the latter set to face Rosemary on TNA this Thursday. Jayne inadvertently kicks her partner Henley into the steel steps, allowing Hail to capitalize with the Kimura Lock for victory. Chase University is dearly missed.

Winner: Thea Hail

NXT Champion Oba Femi enters the ring, boasting the burning ashes of Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans’ dreams. “‘Young OG’ is a lot better than I thought he was,” Femi admits. “As for Trick Williams, I have no love for Williams – cannot stand him.” Williams arrives for another shot before TNA Champion Joe Hendry interrupts – the man who faced Randy Orton at WrestleMania. Hendry calls Williams an entitled “whiny b-” and says, “I was in the ring while you were in the stands,” responding to getting his “ass whooped on Sunday.” Hendry and Femi throw Williams out of the ring, squaring off with their respective gold.

A cinematic vignette heads to the desert with Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino, who begs to reconnect with Tony D’Angelo. “Do you know why I invited you out here?” Lorenzo asks. “Oh f-,” replies Crusifino before break.

“As we know, Stand & Deliver was presented by Xfinity,” says Sarah Schreiber, in case it wasn’t known. She interviews new Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca and Zaria before Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez interrupt. Morgan mocks Zaria for not having gold, but Ruca insists Za-Ruca is going strong.

Je’Von Evans and Myles Borne vs Darkstate

Williams crashes out backstage before cameras cut to Evans’ entrance. Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin opt in for Darkstate, the most cohesive duo of the menagerie. They eat Borne’s outside sommersault as NQCC members Charlie Dempsey and Tavion Heights appear ringside preceding break. Darkstate powers through Evans until Borne makes a comeback, and meanwhile, commentary says Williams has been ordered out of the building by NXT General Manager Ava. Darkstate hits a double-team slam on Borne for victory, but something about them isn’t quite hitting.

Winners: Darkstate

“I’m just looking out for my friends,” Shawn Spears says to Ava. Yoshiki Inamura steps in, thanking Ava before ending his excursion back to NOAH. He feels bad for letting down partner Josh Briggs, leading Ava to offer one last NXT Tag Team Championship match next week. “Old Japanese secret,” Inamura says.

Cinematic cameras follow Tony D’Angelo into Adriana Rizzo’s hotel room. They both haven’t heard from Crusifino, and Rizzo yearns to fix things with “Stacks.” D’Angelo says that “Stacks” declared war, and Rizzo can’t safely go home.

Ricky Saints is interviewed backstage, thrilled for Noam Dar winning the Heritage Cup Champion and empathetic for being out for a year. In comes Ethan Page, allowing King to blindside Saints a vow to take his North American Championship next week.

“We’re f- back, baby!” says Andre Chase, opening a briefcase that contains a classic red Chase University sweater. Chase University is back like ECW was back in 2006.

Roxanne Perez vs Stephanie Vaquer (c) – NXT Women’s Championship

Perez is almost out of purgatory, finding light in an anchor like Giulia – who together attacked Vaquer and WWE Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky on Monday Night Raw. She garners boos for escaping the champion’s thigh smashes and attacks her left arm through picture-in-picture. Vaquer recuperates with a Tiger Feint Kick and springboard crossbody on the elevated ramp, meteora in the corner and finally the signature thigh smashes. Perez reverses momentum with a crossface, but Vaquer comes back with a Dragon Screw and SVB for the win.

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer

Giulia locks eyes with Vaquer on the elevated ramp, but in the crowd, Jordynne Grace spectates too. “All eyes are on our champion here in NXT,” Vic Joseph closes.

Usually the NXT episodes outside of the Performance Center bring a fresh, vibrant energy to the show. But with a darkened backdrop and burnt-out audience, the uninspired card didn’t get much help.
