On the Babyfaces podcast, Tiffany Stratton gave her thoughts on last week’s controversial segment with Charlotte Flair.

During the in-ring confrontation, Flair seemed to be rattled by the Dominik Mysterio level of boos she received from the audience in the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

Word is that Flair went off script first making her “nepo queen” comment. When Flair adlibbed the comment about Stratton’s voice, Stratton is thought to have fired back with her comments referencing Flair’s divorces:

“When it’s all said and done you’re going to be just like you are outside of the ring, alone!…What is that record, like 0-3?”.

Like a boxer who didn’t know she was already knocked out Flair responded with the weak: “Is that why Kaiser’s in my DMs?”.

On Babyfaces, Stratton provided more context on how and why things went so terribly wrong.

“I think being so new into this business, being so new as champion, I don’t think she really expected me to stand up to her and I don’t think she was expecting me to almost clap back. All I have to say is it’s live TV, stakes are high, we’re going into WrestleMania. I have the title. I want to keep the title and I’m going to pull out every stop that I can. People want to see our match and I think that we did a very good job of getting people wanting to see our match and invested in our story,” she said.

Stratton said she is ready for their match at Mania.

“People want to see our match and I think that we did a very good job of getting people wanting to see our match and invested in our story. I’m ready to put on the best women’s match ever and I’m ready to go to war,” Stratton continued.

Stratton did give some props to Flair though.

“I’m not chasing a title. I’m actually the one being chased and it’s by Charlotte Flair, one of the most decorated women we have on the roster. So, that in itself is a lot of pressure but
I feel like right now I am just trying to be in the moment…I’m going to have the biggest match with my career in two weeks and I’m just trying to stay calm with everything,” she said.
