Triple H was a guest on the Mother’s Day edition of Sunday Brunch but things really didn’t go as planned for the chief content officer.

Sunday Brunch is a show that has aired on Channel 4 in the UK since 2012. It is hosted by Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer. It is a relaxed morning show that combines cooking, celebrity interviews and music.

HHH guested with actors Adam and Ryan Thomas, DJ Sara Cox, comedian Bridget Christie and singer Tony Hadley.

During the show an uncomfortable HHH engaged in a a potato peeling competition, watched hot cross buns being baked and after a short interview he bailed on the show, didn’t stick around with the other guests as most guests do.

In the interview, he talked about the USA Network complaining about the entire DX routine. The WWE received a letter from USA stating that Michaels and HHH’s skits had gone too far and the network laid out rules for their appearances going forward. If the rules were violated the USA Network would either end their partnership with WWE or Michaels and HHH would be fired. That led to them using the letter on-air in a skit.

“I just fell in love with it! Growing up, I loved it, and for me, it was the greatest form of entertainment. It’s just this physical art from where you’re just storytelling and then the storytelling just sorts ends up in the ring and the drama and the presentation and pageantry of it,” he said about why he loves wrestling so much.

WWE Raw airs live on Netflix at 3:00 PM today as it originates from London’s O2 Arena.
