What do you know! It’s that mid-week wrestling show again. Coming to us from St. Paul, MN.

Another action-packed episode of All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite!

Somehow, A Minecraft Movie gets a plug here. Interesting.

1. Blake Christian vs. Kenny Omega

Didn’t know this match was on the docket, let alone the opener. Christian (No, not THAT Christian) is coming off a seven-match win streak in ROH action. Let’s get it going!

The crowd chants “KEN-NY!” before The Best Bout Machine’s music even hits. He comes in with as much “DYNAMITE” (see what I did there?) as he can. like, six explosions.

Kenny Omega responds with repeated chops after Christian flips the bird at him.

Two Snap Dragon Suplexes and a V-Trigger. One-Winged Angel.

Winner: Kenny Omega.

Sporting his belt, the victor grabs the mic and says he wouldn’t have missed the chance to wrestle in St. Paul. He mentions his upcoming match at Dynasty, bringing out Speedball Mike Bailey.

Speedball says Omega’s an inspiration to him. He admires his Dynasty opponent, but he promises not to hold anything back. Ricochet interrupts, via videocall. Ricochet calls Speedball “cornball”. Weak. He says he’s going to win.

Omega was going to reply, but Ricochet ends the call. Omega says he doesn’t need friends because he already has a cat. The champion only has time for his legacy.

Jericho and the Learning Tree have some clear tension. He wants Big Bill and Bryan Keith to prove themselves. He calls out Bandido in a mask vs. title match at Dynasty.

MJF comes out and immediately insults the late musician Prince. He mentions MVP, calling him out to the ring so he can give him his answer. MVP and The Hurt Syndicate may be the most “over” heel faction in at least recent memory. MJF calls MVP a legend in the sport. He compliments MVP’s cane before saying he won’t do “friends” after the whole Adam Cole thing. He says MVP also doesn’t do friends. He does “business”. MJF says he’d like to be in the business of hurting people.

Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin come out. Lashley holds his hand out but he wants the card. Lashley rips it. MVP seems a bit confused. MJF says they’ll talk before he leaves the ring.

Bryan Keith and Big Bill come out. This should be good… Keith and Bill want a shot at the tag team titles. MVP says they have to win a match first.

“Timeless” Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa name their tag team “Thunder Tits”. I mean, if the shoe fits.

2. Brody King vs. Kyle Fletcher (with Don Callis)

Don Callis annoys Tony Schiavone. As he does to most people. Tazz throws the word “jabroni” out. Seems accurate.

Fletcher lands a kick before the bell rings. But the Hound (I’m giving him this nickname) chops him down with one blow and takes control. He crushes Fletcher’s chest with a massive Senton. Fletcher comes back with three stomps off the ropes to keep Brody down but it doesn’t work.

King nails Fletcher with a massive tope suicida in front of the broadcast desk. The two are leaving it all out there for sure. Fletcher nails a massive elbow drop but King kicks out. Fletcher nails two chin kicks on the side of the ring before King retaliates with a Death Valley Driver.

Don’t try this at home, kids.

King kicks out of a Tombstone Piledriver. Mark Davis shows up, pulling Fletcher out of the way of the cannonball. Don Callis had the referee’s attention. Turnbuckle Brainbuster.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher.

Fletcher and Davis attack King. Powerhouse Hobbs makes the save. This works out well because up next is…

3. Mark Davis vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

Security and Christopher Daniels are out as we come back from commercial. Hobbs and Davis are going full-tilt.

Hobbs hits a Powerslam out of nowhere. The crowd chants “MEAT!” as Hobbs hits Davis in the corner with elbows.

Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs.

Lexy Nair is backstage with Kip Sabian, Nick Wayne, and Mother Wayne. Wayne will wait until Christian Cage is back to speak his mind.

Renee Paquette is backstage after a commercial with “Hangman” Adam Page. The #1 Contender for the Men’s Heavyweight Championship Swerve Strickland interrupts before Prince Nana gets him out of there.

A pre-recorded interview with Schiavone and Rated FTR airs. Harwood monologues and apologizes for letting his emotions take over. They clear the air and then issue a challenge to the Death Riders for the Trios Championships at Dynasty.

Swerve comes out with Prince Nana on 100 as he always is. Strickland calls out Jon Moxley, unaccompanied by the Death Riders. He comes out and the two stand face-to-face in the middle of the ring. Swerve says he likes giving people enough rope to hang themselves, including Moxley. Swerve says Moxley hides behind the other Death Riders.

Swerve asks him how his back is doing after last week. He says that everything Moxley used to say to describe himself is what Swerve is now. Claudio shows up behind Prince Nana.

Moxley says their match at Dynasty is Swerve vs. himself. He says Swerve needs to ask himself how far he’s willing to go… every day. Not just at Dynasty. Will he endure? Will he look for a way out? He says Swerve hasn’t suffered enough. Moxley says Swerve is a unique breed but that’s not granting him a hand-out. He says he’s willing to go the whole way right now. Marina Shafir enters the ring but is quickly met by Willow Nightingale.

Swerve says he is one step ahead and that he’s ready to be champion again. He says Moxley can have fun continuing to play Jon Moxley on TV. Marina is not satisfied and Willow Nightingale fights back. Claudio Castagnoli and Prince Nana separate the two.

Samoa Joe and HOOK are backstage and stand behind Caster as he talks to Top Flight and AR Fox. Samoa Joe chokes him out. Katsuyori Shibata holds the camera for an engaging backstage segment.

Back from commercial, Jay White joins Renee Paquette. He officially joins the Owen Hart Tournament. He issues an invitation to anyone willing to stand in his way in the tournament this Saturday on Collision.

4. Top Flight (with AR Fox) vs. Alex Findley and Devo Knight

A quick match that sees Findley and Knight sustain a bit of offense. But the hometown brothers make it textbook. Watching ringside are Action Andretti and Lio Rush. Bryan Keith and Big Bill watch from backstage as well.

Winners: Top Flight.

5. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Mark Briscoe

Don Callis is back at the desk. Briscoe shows he can keep up with the power of Takeshita with his own brand of violence and his speed. He hits a Death Valley Driver but Takeshita gets right up after. He hits a Superplex off the ropes but Briscoe kicks out.

Callis says he hasn’t changed anything in coaching Takeshita since his loss to Kenny Omega at Revolution.

Briscoe hits a lariat over the clothesline but Takeshita jumps back into the ring and nails his jaw with the boot. Takeshita hits a DDT on the outside of the ropes. Briscoe lands a huge elbow drop and more Redneck Kung-Fu. He hits a flurry of moves on the outside of the ring. Even Callis says that you can’t prepare for a match against someone like Briscoe.

Briscoe hits an elbow drop after walking the security barricade. Don Callis looks like he’s throwing a tantrum. The two trade Exploders before Takeshita hits a massive knee. Briscoe kicks out at two.

Jay Driller forces a kick-out at two. Takeshita hits Raging Fire.

Winner: Konosuke Takeshita.

The Death Riders are backstage and Wheeler Yuta (and his mid-2000s pop-punk hair) calls out Cope for trying to pull him away from his “family”. Claudio calls out their challengers and PAC turns the tables, saying The Death Riders are the ones issuing the challenge.

Alicia Atout is backstage with The Hurt Syndicate. Lashley asks MVP what’s going on. He and Shelton Benjamin don’t like MJF. MVP agrees but says his “reprehensible” qualities are what make him desireable to their efforts.

6. Thunder Rosa and “Timeless” Toni Storm (with Luther) vs. Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne

Rosa and Bayne start. Power vs. speed is always a special sight in a wrestling ring. Rosa hits a leg drop on Ford after Storm gets a big knee strike. The crowd chants “Thunder Tits!”

Bayne takes control against Rosa during the commercial break. Ford goes for a cover but ending the match during a commercial break would be a very interesting (read: BAD) choice.

The match goes into overtime as The “Megasus” Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford take control as Rosa can’t make the tag. She finally makes it and tags in the AEW Women’s World Champion as Ford tags in Bayne as well.

Ford grabs Storm from behind. She dodges a kick and Bayne hits Ford. Fate’s Descent connects, though. “Timeless” Toni Storm eats the pin.

Winners: Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne.
