Team India (Raj Dhesi, AKA: Jinder Mahal and AEW’s Satnam Singh) didn’t even have one title defense and they have been stripped of their championships.
Lucha Libre AAA announced today that their tag team titles have been vacated.
“As of today, the AAA Tag Team Championships are officially vacant due to a 214-day period of inactivity,” stated the promotion.
AAA also stated that new champions will be crowned during their main touring events but didn’t state how or when.
The pairing won the titles back at Triplemanía XXXII: Mexico City on August 17th of last year. Team India defeated the teams of Negro Casas and Psycho Clown, and La Dinastía Wagner (Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno del Mal) to win the belts.
