Wrestler Kat Von Heez reflected on his career and their time together: “This one hits a little harder and I don’t have words right now. I shared the ring with, trained with, and hung out with Broderick (Australian Suicide) before he moved to Mexico. He was a fun, free-spirited, and talented individual that I was so happy to see rise to success in Mexico. You’re gone way too soon, and I’m so glad I got to know you. Sending my condolences to your family and friends. R.I.P Broderick.”
CWA also acknowledged his death, writing, “The wrestling world is mourning. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends, and to our industry partner Vanilla Vargas for the loss of her husband. Much strength.”
