It is a night that rivaled Hulk Hogan turned heel joining forces with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash at WCW Bash at the Beach in 1996. Hogan went on to become Hollywood Hogan in WCW.

Tonight after ditching the “Doctor of Thuganomics” persona in 2004, 21 years ago, John Cena has turned heel once again.

With Elimination Chamber winner and his WrestleMania opponent at his side Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes told The Rock to go do something physically impossible to himself in the middle of the ring at the conclusion of The Elimination Chamber show. Cody’s soul belonged to the people, not The Rock. Rhodes was not going to sell his soul to The Rock. The Rock gave the sign. Cena smiled while hugging Rhodes. He low-blowed Cody to begin what would be a vicious beatdown of Rhodes with The Rock, Cena and Travis Scott joining in.

Fans flooded social media with their reactions.
