Cody Rhodes just cannot catch a break. Not only does The Rock want his “soul” but he was blindsided last night.
After Smackdown went off the air Cody hung around at ringside signing autographs and greeting fans.
As our own Bob Kapur reported: “He (Cody) said he was going to give a signed Maple Leafs title belt to the loudest fan.”
Cody was attacked by Solo Sikoa who hit him with a steel chair. Cody recovered to give Solo a Cross Rhodes. He then brought a kid to the ring and celebrated with them.
On Smackdown, The Rock has a video message for Cody in which he continued to try and manipulate him, tempt him to join him again. He gifted Rhodes a Ford Raptor with his name emblazoned upon it. The truck was driven out during The Rock’s message.
At Elimination Chamber tonight, Cody will give The Rock his answer. Will he become The Rock’s champion? Stay tuned.
