Ever since he has left the WWE there have been rumours swirling around that former CEO and chairman Vince McMahon could be starting a new company, even a new wrestling promotion.
Well, if he is, Fox isn’t one of his partners.
Andrew Marchand, a reporter for The Athletic posted a message refuting the claims that Fox was not only waiting for McMahon to launch his new federation but had an ideal timeslot for it on their network.
There is a report that Vince McMahon might start a wrestling company with Fox as a partner. If McMahon is planning that or not, I don’t know, but the Fox part is not true, according to a network spokesman.

Last October, PWInsider reported that once McMahon’s legal issues are resolved he would be creating an “entertainment hub company to fund, develop, and produce film and television projects.”
It was reported, however, that none of that content would be associated with pro-wrestling.
“Several WWE employees are said to have already been confirmed for the new organization, including former WWE COO Brad Blum, who resigned from WWE in May shortly after being identified as “Corporate Officer No. 2” in the Janel Grant lawsuit and former WWE Senior Vice President of Entertainment Relations Kristen Prouty is also linked to McMahon’s new company. Prouty left WWE earlier this year as part of TKO’s redundancy layoffs,” wrote PWInsider at the time.
Currently, McMahon faces not only a lawsuit from former WWE employee Janel Grant but also the ‘Ring Boys’ lawsuit.
