Fightful and PW Nexus are reporting that Carmella is no longer under WWE contract. It appears that the WWE did not renew her contract.
Carmella hasn’t wrestled a match since a WWE Road To WrestleMania Supershow in 2023 which she and Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai & IYO SKY) and Piper Niven lost to Asuka, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae and Nikki Cross.
Her last televised match was against Bianca Belair on Raw.
Carmella has been on a hiatus from WWE after she and husband WWE announcer Cory Graves welcomed a son after dealing with a miscarriage. Carmella has also been suffering from herniated discs in her back.
Carmella has expressed an interest in returning to in-ring action in the future.
Carmella is a former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion and a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Zelina Vega.
