A former WWE superstar is not happy with the controversial comments made by a famous podcaster, YouTuber.
While acting as a guest judge on comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show ‘India’s Got Latent’ Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps) asked a young contestant about “sex and his parents”. The quip caused a national uproar sparking discussions about how social media and free speech.
“Would you rather witness your parents engaging in sexual activity every single day for the rest of your life or participate once and put an end to it forever?” was the question Allahbadia asked the potential contestant.
Allahbadia, known for his podcast The Ranveer Show, issued a public apology:
“My team and I are cooperating with police and all other authorities. I will follow due process and will be available to all authorities. My remark about parents was insensitive and disrespectful. It is my moral responsibility to do better and I am genuinely sorry,” he wrote.
Content creator Mohit Khubani has claimed that Allahbadia apologized to the young boy three or four times after making the comment.
Allahbadia then detailed the threats him and his family have faced since making the joke.
“I am watching death threats pour in from people saying they want to kill me and hurt my family. People have invaded my mother’s clinic posing as patients. I am feeling scared and I don’t know what to do but I am not running away. I have full faith in the police and the judicial system of India,” he wrote.
The Supreme Court has stepped in after several reports were filed to police against Allahbadia. They have protected from arrest but are considering preparing a case against him.
“You tell us anyone on the earth would like these kinds of words to be told? You (Allahbadia) are insulting people, parents also. We don’t want to say, (but) there’s something very dirty in his mind that has been vomited by way of this program,” stated the court.
The court said that there is a legal vacuum they would be happy to rule on if the standing government doesn’t.
It also ordered: “The petitioner or his associates shall not air any show on Youtube or any other audio/visual mode of communication till further orders.”
Allahbadia was also ordered to surrender his passport.
Allahbadia’s lawyer has stated: “As an officer of the court, I personally am disgusted by what the petitioner has said but whether it rises to the level of a criminal offence is another question.”
Samay Raina has since deleted all episodes of his show.
In response to the controversy, former WWE superstar Saurav Gurjar (AKA: Sanga) refused to accept Allahbadia’s apology and publicly threatened the social media star in a video on X.
“It doesn’t matter if he apologizes or not. We need to take action against him otherwise someone else will try the same thing. “The kind of things he has said, I demand the government to take strict action against him. People like him have crossed all limits. We should take legal action against people like him who are spoiling our society and religion by saying such things so that the next generation can be saved,” he said.
Sanga then took things a little further by stating: “If I meet Ranveer in any Mumbai party or show, I’ll not spare him. His security will not be able to save him, nor any power in the world. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean you can say whatever you want.”
Sanga is not only a former WWE superstar but an actor who starred in the TV shows Mahabharat, Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman and the film Brahmastra. He is also a former National Kickboxing Gold Medalist.
Some applauded Sanga while others reprimanded him for his comments:
“Playing Bhima on screen and threatening someone in real life are two different things. Bhima fought for dharma, justice, and righteousness—not for online feuds and ego battles. Maybe embodying the character in real life is harder than reciting his lines on TV.” What a clown.

I completely agree that what he said is wrong… It’ll be great if you and others show the same aggression when politicians and gov officials take bribes, rich people get away from punishments, when CEO’s exploit workers and when farmers are suffering

I understand ur concern but dont intimidate people. Behave yourself properly in public platform. What Ranveer said Is completely wrong and he did apologize. If u really care then question ruling govt 1st for poor air quality, high corruption and taxes, bad infra and unemployment
