Sometimes things are what they seem. That appears to be the case when it comes to “King Khan” or “The King of Bollywood”.
The celebrated Indian actor and film producer Shah Rukh Khan is the subject of viral photos which many are saying are fake, were generated by AI.
The photos depict Khan alongside Roman Reigns and Ronda Rousey at the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
The Maha Kumbh Mela is a Hindu festival which takes place every 12 years in India and is the world’s largest religious gathering.
It attracts worshippers and famous faces, names from all around the world.
Apparently, Roman Reigns and Ronda Rousey were not among those people. The Boom media outlet fact-checked the photos and found them to be produced and created by artificial intelligence.
Boom used an AI-image detector tool which concluded that the chances of the photos being artificially generated is over 80 per cent.
They also could not find the original photos or the source of those photos.
At press time, there has been no comment from the WWE or Khan himself.
This isn’t the first time WWE superstar Roman Reigns has been drawn into a shady situation. In 2023, a woman in the Philippines took to the public airwaves claiming that she and Roman Reigns were in a relationship only for it to be determined that it was another online love scam.
