NXT hasn’t been hitting the mark with me for the last few weeks. Nothing has really been pulling me in except maybe Ethan Page and his really cruel shenanigans but let’s see how they do tonight.

We see A-Town Down Under, Oba Femi, Jakara Jackson, Lash Legend, Bianca Bianca and Naomi arriving at the arena earlier in the day.

(NXT Women’s Champion) Giulia and Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade

To her credit Bayley approaches this set-up as she would a massive arena show. The crowd chants her name lighting a fire under her. Vic reminds Booker that he won his first tag team championship in the very building they are in now, Center Stage. Booker wants everyone to stand up and recognize the greatness of Perez.

The match begins with both teams brawling. Bayley calls Perez a “little idiot”. Giulia misses with her big knee. Perez almost rolls her up into a pin. Perez pulls Giulia’s hair so Giulia does the same back. Bayley is cheered when she tag in. Perez pops Bayley in the face. She backpedals immediately tagging in Jade. Jade knocks Bayley off the top rope with a running knee. A furious Giulia complains to the official. Jade and Perez kick, punch and stomp Bayley. Perez mocks Bayley by mimicking her former persona, waving her arm about before charging into a corner. Bayley catches her and slams her.

Jade accidentally clobbers Perez. Giulia almost pins a confused Jade. The match breaks down into a brawl in the middle of the ring. Bayley whips Perez into the steel barricade on the floor. Bayley pins Jade with her flying elbow smash off the top rope. Bayley and Giulia shake hands but Bayley gives the NXT Women’s Championship a long, hard stare before leaving the ring.

Waller is booed severely but Theory is cheered as he is from Atlanta. The crowd is behind Oba. Waller says the fans in Atlanta “aren’t that smart”. Waller and Theory go over Femi’s accomplishments but don’t think he will ever make the main roster. Femi reminds them that neither of them have been NXT Champion. “I have achieved more in a year than you two both did in NXT,” says Femi. Waller reminds Femi they have competed in WrestleMania. He never has.

“We are on Monday Night Raw. Raw and Smackdown are the big leagues. A guy like you? We have seen it a million times. A top draft pick? Someone like you ends up in catering and six months later you ass is in the indies trying to sell t-shirts,” says Theory.

The crowd starts chanting: “Turn on Grayson!” to Theory.

“Your lips keep writing checks that your hands cannot cash,” says Femi stating he is building a dynasty.

He wonders if there is some sort of problem.

“You don’t talk to a lady like that,” he warns Holland.

Ava storms into the men’s locker room. The men there don’t appreciate that. Ava rips into Williams for his actions this week and last week. Ava tells Williams he isn’t in the championship match at Vengeance Day.
