Allie Katch medical update

TNA star Steph De Lander has confirmed that Allie Katch was severely injured at last night’s GCW vs The World event.

De Lander has given fans an update stating that Katch has to have surgery on her leg and will be staying in hospital overnight.

“Thank you for the support as always; she has a long road ahead and every dollar counts,” wrote De Lander.

WWE’s Chelsea Green sent along a message of support:

GCW mainstay and Green’s husband, Matt Cardona, also asked fans to give what they could to help:

She broke her leg last night in the middle of a match.

She’s going to have expensive medical bills and obviously won’t be able to wrestle to make money.

Katch was injured minutes into a match with Effy. She landed awkwardly diving through the ropes to the floor. The match had to called and the event was halted for approximately 15 minutes while another ambulance was readied in case anyone else was injured on the card as per the New York State Athletic Commission’s rules.

Katch herself responded to the outpouring of support:
