Naomi, Bayley & Bianca Belair vs. Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton & Candice LeRae – 6-Woman Tag Team match
Prior to the match starting, Nia Jax wanted to make herself perfectly clear that neither she, Candice and Tiffany touched Jade Cargill, despite how convinced Belair is that one, or all of them are responsible. My take on this is that the culprit is someone no one has guessed because the focus is largely placed on these three women. Never was there a moment when they considered anyone else in the locker room, and that might cost Bianca later on. Nia reckoned that Belair was adamant on her suspicion because she wanted to remove any impression off of her… I did think that, too.
Once the match officially began, Stratton and Belair are the first to brawl it out. It has been equal in the early goings until Tiffany rolled out of the ring to avoid Bianca’s body splash. In retaliation of that, Bayley, Naomi and the EST perform a triple dive on their opponents. Following that, Belair pounded her fist into Nia’s head ten time before tagging Naomi. However, she was nearly pinned after that pop up headbutt.
The Tag Team Champions play a double team on Candice LeRae that almost ended this match in their favor. Given how that didn’t work, Bianca decided to add further punishment… that got interrupted by a barking Tiffy and a trip-up by Candice. Nia came in and delivered a leg drop across Belair’s throat.
Things got strangely messy when Jax tagged Candice as they perform a double team on Bianca, but Stratton tagged herself in as well. The referee didn’t see it. Stratton came crashing down with an elbow drop just as LeRae was executing the cover. Never mind all that, though, Bayley and Candice finally have at it. Bayley’s flurries didn’t prepare her for LeRae’s impressive offence against the post. That thud echoed throughout the arena. Ouch…
Bayley has been a ragdoll the majority of the time, somewhat uncapable to tag her teammates, regardless, she continued to fight on. She finally managed to tag Naomi as Candice had no choice, but to bring in Tiffany. Naomi’s bulldog garnished extreme praise due to how thunderous it looked. Naomi has been amazing as she flipped Nia off the top and entered a close conclusion with that split-legged Moonsault if it weren’t for Stratton.
Everyone was down at some point except for Tiffany, so she was thinking of cashing in her contract. Annoyingly so, Candice stopped her and said no, despite Tiffany shouting that she wants to be Champion. That little verbal altercation cost them the match as Naomi grabbed Candice from behind and slammed her on the mat for a victory. Both Bayley and Belair made sure to neutralize Stratton during the process.
Ha! Nia looked so confused…

Whatever the living hell was going on backstage with A-Town Down Under trying to usurp money out of Nick Aldis for what Braun Strowman did to them while Grayson was dressed like he got outfitted in the dark by a five-year-old was the least of my worries. Sami Zayn had a meeting with Aldis. The Bloodline showed up on RAW this past Monday to attack him and Jey Uso, so Sami was here to get his pound of flesh. For some reason, Carmelo Hayes got mad that Nick was trying to humble him, so he gifts him a Christmas card with pictures of his victories.
The root of this is that he interrupted a meeting, so Sami crumbled his card and threw it at Hayes’ face telling him that when two people are talking, others wait their damn turn. Carmelo’s ego was too big, so Sami issued a fight with him later tonight, to which Aldis agreed.
Austin Theory vs. Braun Strowman
Seeing theory turning into a ragdoll and bouncing around the ring brings me joy. Strowman was giving me exactly what I wanted. Braun nearly got picked up by Theory, which was impressive, but he thwarted that real quick with a well-placed elbow to the face.
Theory was foolish enough to squander his upper hand with insulting words and naturally got chopped for it. He fell backwards as if his soul was violently taken from him. Later on, that cover Austin initiated was thrown away with authority at a one count. Even he was surprised when he hit the floor.
Austin caught Strowman off guard for a moment, luckily, Braun came back ten times more powerful by launching his challenger into Grayson. Then the Freight Train bulldozed through Theory since Waller ducked out and kept running. Quite the friend he is… even when he did come back only to get shoved off. Because of that, Austin was near success with Strowman on his shoulders, yet he couldn’t hold him and collapsed. Braun capitalized with a running powerslam.

As the evening continued to move forward, Kevin Owens informed Nick Aldis that he heard his ultimatum, but he’ll only come into the arena on his terms. Owens wants him and Aldis in the ring alone, so they could talk.
Oh, let’s not forget that we have a celebration to commence for Chelsea Green as the first ever Women’s US Champion. This girl really came out dressed like Lady Liberty… She doesn’t give Piper the recognition she deserved after sticking to this girl’s hip for this long. Nevertheless, Green had to keep this roast going by name-dropping Michin. It’s only just for her to come out and address Chelsea. Michin was pissed, as was I, that if it weren’t for Piper, she would be Champion. She assaulted Niven with the kendo stick before going after Green.
Backstage, Nick gave DIY the opportunity to be honest as to who attacked the Street Profits not too long ago, yet instead they lie. What they didn’t count on was the two eyewitnesses to be Pretty Deadly. Ha! Their fumbling turned the tables on Los Garza out of nowhere.
The Street Profits vs. Los Garza – Tag Team match
Montez Ford wasted little time going after Humberto, then turned his attention towards Angel on the outside. They were fuming. The Profits already have Los Garza reeling for help and mercy. Help and mercy. Ha! Ford delivered an effective clothesline to Humberto back inside the ring. A double flatjack from the Profits nearly pinned Berto.
At some point, Los Garza have regained some leeway over Angelo Dawkins with a set of weird double teaming. If you see what I saw, then you get it. Ha! Anyway, Angel attempted to stretch Dawkins. That eventually failed because of Angelo’s superior strength.
There was a display of better teamwork from Los Garza as they flatten Ford in the corner. Angel had Montez bent out of sorts and preventing him from tagging his partner. Montez looked like life was sucked out after that painful offence provided by Los Garza. Humberto continued with the onslaught.
That DDT scrambled the brains of Angel since he took a while to fall on his back. Ha! Elektra looked like she just saw a cockroach on the mat and wasn’t sure if she should say anything.
Whatever momentum the Profits had was shattered once Los Garza reestablished themselves and knocked Angelo out silly, then from the second rope, they slammed Ford on the mat. Unfortunately for Humberto, that wasn’t sufficient. Angelo and Montez were setting up Angel, yet Lopez saved him from his fate. That angered B-Fab to push pump kick Elektra in the chest. Ford rolled back inside the ring to double on Angel with the doomsday brainbuster from up top and secure a win.

Next Friday, Andrade and US Champion Shinsuke Nakamura face off in the ring. Naomi has the opportunity to become a double Champion when she battles Nia Jax for the title. Also, things become ever more hectic when Apollo Crews informed the Profits that DIY attacked them, not Los Garza, and I knew it. That’s a whole mess if I ever saw one. Damn…
Sami Zayn vs. Carmelo Hayes
In the beginning of the fight, Hayes and Zayn have been evenly matched since neither men were going down easily and for too long. Sami was looking to launch himself after Carmelo when he tossed him outside, yet Hayes moved before any of the squashing could take place. Aw, damn it.
Carmelo looked to turn things around for himself, yet Sami utilized the current against him in his favor to Moonsault Hayes off the barricade. Unfortunately, Carmelo did gain some leverage as he bounced Zayn’s face off the turnbuckles and a springboard crossbody.
After enduring quite the beating, Sami retaliated with a big clothesline to the throat of Hayes, allowing him some breathing room. He continued by raining a clubbing blow to the back of Hayes’ head. Sami was looking for the Blue Thunderbomb twice, however, Carmelo blocked him. The third attempt was a successful one. It didn’t finish the job just yet.
I laughed my ass off when Corey Graves was pumping more egotism into Carmelo by insinuating that Hayes don’t miss with Nothing but Net, yet his body was rammed by another clothesline in mid-air. Ha! Guess he missed. Sami delivered an Exploder in the corner and that set up the Helluva Kick… that Melo rolled out of the way and went for the exit. While Sami was rightfully confused, so was Melo when he heard Braun’s music playing. Yay!
…And boo! When Sami turned around, he was brutally ambushed by the Bloodline. He tried to defend himself, yet Sami was spent. Lucky for him, Braun eventually came back with Melo in tow and realized there was another brawl going on, so he decided to assist.
He was doing well until Jacob Fatu distracted him long enough for everyone else within the Bloodline to show up. Zayn may have been laid out, nevertheless, that didn’t stop him from spearing Solo. That was met with a Samoan Spike.
Winner: No one
Christ… We’ve reached the end of the program with Kevin Owens and Nick Aldis inside the ring. In Aldis’ mind, the right to do would be for Owens to hand over the Championship belt. In Kevin’s mind, that’s the only bargaining chip he has in order to get a rematch where a referee won’t rob him of his deserved victory. That’s what happened.
Nick warned Kevin that this wasn’t a negotiation. That there will be consequences following any refusal, so he made it clear that if Owens doesn’t hand the belt over, he will never enter a WWE ring again. And right on cue, Cody Rhodes arrives. He was also hungry for a rematch, so he convinced Aldis to give them a Ladder match where both belts will be held up high at the Royal Rumble. Like that, no referee could interfere.
When you think that’s all it took for Owens to be happy, he went and shoved Aldis into Cody, then stumped on the injured neck before leaving the ring. I’m a little disturbed, yet intrigued at the same time…
