Greetings and salutaions! Its Wednesday so that means that its time for AEW Dynamite. This week it’s a special Dynamite as it’s a themed Winter is Coming edition. On this week’s show we continue with the Continental Classic, Mariah May facing off against her former friend Mina Shirakawa, and The Death Riders taking on Orange Cassidy and Jay White. With all this and more, let’s get to the action!


Jon Moxley and PAC (w/ Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta) VS Orange Cassidy and Jay White


Very back and forth match. Yuta is trying to distract the ref to get Shafir’s help. Cassidy shoved her to the floor, then follows that up with an Orange Punch to both Yuta & Moxley. Hangman Adam Pageis out and attacks Moxley causing a DQ.

Winners: The Death Riders (via DQ)

After the match, Cassidy went to pull Page off Mox, but ends up fighting with Page until White comes in and fights Page. Cassidy went for an Orange Punch, but Page evades it  and takes out White. Cassidy eventually takes out Page and White delivers a Blade Runner. The Death Riders take the chance and attack Page, White & Cassidy. The Death Riders leave through the crowd after the beating.


Another vignette airs for the returning Bandido.

The Death Riders are backstage and Jon Moxley is happy that he’s got a target on his back. Moxley says everyone wants the next title shot because egos run All Elite Wrestling. and we get the 4-way made official for Worlds End.


From a luxury box, Christian Cage cuts a promo and  is angry about the just announced 4-way title match at AEW Worlds End. Cage threatens to use his contract if Moxley retains. HOOK breaks into Cage’s luxury box attacks him until Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne eventually get up there but HOOK is able to run away.


Continental Classic Gold League: Will Ospreay VS Claudio Castagnoli


Ospreay missed a Hidden Blade after taking a commanding lead early inthe match. Castagnoli with a Ricola Bomb attempt, but Ospreay avoids it and locks in a Octopus Hold. Castagnoli got the ropes, and went back to targeting Ospreay’s arm. In the corner, the two  battle, and Castagnoli goes for a Superplex, but Ospreay jumps over it but ends up taking a huge Uppercut for his effort..

Castagnoli plays with Ospreay, and Ospreay ducks an attack and hits an Oscutter, but Castagnoli rolled outside. Back in the ring, Ospreay looks for a Hidden Blade, but Castagnoli hits him with a pop-up uppercut for a 2-count. Castagnoli hits Ospreay with his Lariat, but Ospreay kicked out. Castagnoli looking for a Neutralizer, but Ospreay with a Jackknife pin to steal the W.

Winner: Will Ospreay

After the match, Castagnoli attacks and hits a Neutralizer on Ospreay. Darby Allin with the save and Castagnoli runs off through the crowd.


Ricochet is backstage with Renee Paquette. Ricochet hypes up his match against Brody King in the Continental Classic tonight.

MJF arrives to the arena….

Renee Paquette is backstage with Matt Cardona. Cardona says he belongs in AEW and he’s been busting his ass for the past five years reinventing himself and he has the biggest match of his career now against Chris Jericho at Final Battle. Cardona challenges Bryan Keith to a match this Friday night on Rampage.


Adam Cole VS Kyle O’Reilly


Very even match. Cole hits a superkick and O’Reilly hits Cole with a Lariat, followed by a Ankle Lock. Cole managed the rope break. Cole headbutts out of a superplex, and hits the Panama Sunrise, but O’Reilly rallied back and locked in another Ankle Lock. This time, Cole rolled through, sending O’Reilly to ringside. After eating a Superkick outside, O’Reilly collapses in the ring and the ref checks on him. With the ref occupied, MJF is out and tries to attack Cole, but ends up eating a Superkick for his efforts. O’Reilly with a schoolboy, but Cole kicked out and gets an inside cradle for the win.

Winner: Adam Cole

MJF stares down Cole from the crowd.  The Kingdom comes out to congratulate Cole, but O’Reilly leaves the ring.


FTR is backstage and Dax Harwood says that Fight for the Fallen might be one of the biggest episodes of Dynamite ever as it will be the first time the show airs on TBS and streams on MAX at the same time. FTR says they want a match at Fight for the Fallen and tell The Death Riders if they have a problem with them, they can come to say it to their face this Saturday night on Collision.

Chris Jericho and Bryan Keith are backstage for another New York Minute. Jericho accepts Matt Cardona’s challenge to face Keith this Friday night on Rampage and also says that tomorrow on ROH TV on HonorClub there will be a contract signing for his Final Battle match with Cardona.

Tony Schiavone spoke with Darby Allin. Darby Allin says that it is now his quest to take the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley. Allin calls on the AEW roster to get involved and rise up against the Death Riders.


Continental Classic Gold League: Ricochet VS Brody King


They fight up the ropes, and Ricochet avoids a Superplex and turns it into a Sunset Flip Powerbomb. King came down hard with the turnbuckle pad in his hands. Ricochet with a Shooting Star Press, but King no sells it and locks in a Rear Naked Choke. Ricochet with a springboard, but King chopped him out of mid-air. King went up in the corner again, but Ricochet hit a DDT on the exposed buckle twice. Ricochet hits the Spirit Gun twice for the win.

Winner: Ricochet


Private Party are backstage and are interrupted by Action Andretti and Lio Rush who challenge Private Party. Leila Grey and Top Flight get involved and Kassidy says the two teams face each other on Collision, and the winners get a future title shot.

Anna Jay and Mercedes Moné are backstage with Renee Paquette. Paquette says today is day 200 of Moné’s reign as TBS Champion. Moné says she has a lot of respect for Anna Jay and calls out the fact that she’s only 26. Moné then says by the time she was 26 she was a multi-time champion. Jay says Mercedes is a living legend and she admires what she does in the ring and she knows she’s going into their match as the underdog but hopes Mercedes underestimates her because all she needs is three seconds to become the new TBS Champion.


AEW Women’s World Championship: Mariah May (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa


After the two went back and forth, Shirakawa went to the ropes, but May hits her with a handspring head scissors. Shirakawa comes right back with a rolling neckbreaker and draping top rope DDT. May pulls Shirakawa into the ropes, and hits two pump knees followed by a May Day for a 2-count of her own. May wanted another May Day, but Shirakawa turned it into a Crucifix Bomb for another 2-count. Shirakawa hita the Sling Blade, followed by the Glamourous Driver for a 2.9-count. In Shirakawa’s disbelief, May hits a headbutt and Storm Zero for the win.

Winner: And still Champion, Mariah May

Thunder Rosa watching from the crowd, but before she gets involved, Toni Storm makes her return in her old-school rocker gimmick clothes to end the show.
