Rey Fenix is promising to reveal all about his time in AEW including his alleged “inhumane treatment” once he is no longer under contract.

Fenix expressed his frustration on social media though. Today he wrote:

Concerning the overall situation with the Lucha Brothers this has come to light courtesy of Dr. Chris Featherstone, Ph.D. from Pancakes & Powerslams on X:

I received information from an AEW source on November 20 regarding the Lucha Brothers’ status, but did not report it as I was waiting for one of them to begin speaking their mind about the situation (I was told that was coming). I was also told that day that Penta’s contract was soon ending with AEW. Rey Fenix did just that (spoke his mind), so here is some Intel I received: – “The alleged excuse that Tony Khan found out about Lucha Brothers [being] in talks with WWE is ‘fake news,’ and the real reason [will be] revealed.” – There is a “real story” behind the situation with Rey Fenix, which is a “huge injustice.” – Expect the Lucha Brothers to go more in-depth about their time in AEW when they are free and clear to do so, and “when they do, [it] is going to be ugly.”

Fenix himself replied:

…and…

Fenix has previously said:

He also wrote: “I will have my chance to speak the truth.”

Rumour has it that The Lucha Brothers are eventually WWE bound once their contracts with AEW end.

Rey Fenix is the latest AEW talent to allege that once you aren’t in the AEW spotlight any longer or perhaps are shifting elsewhere the promotion gives you the cold shoulder. Former AEW talent Joey Janella, Miro, The Boys and others have claimed the same thing has happened to them.
