The Los Ingobernables de Japón team of Tetsuya Naito and Hiromu Takahashi have punched their ticket to Wrestle Kingdom. Naito and Takahashi defeated The Bullet Club War Dogs (Gabe Kidd and SANADA) to win World Tag League 2024. They should now face the IWGP Tag Team Champions at Wrestle Kingdom. The problem is that The Great-O-Khan and Henare had to surrender the titles due to Henare’s knee injury. So, there are currently no champions for LIJ to face. Hiromu Takahashi will be taking on Tetsuya Naito, for some strange reason, at Wrestle Kingdom though.
In the World Tag League finals it looked like Hiromu was going to tap out to Sanada’s Skull End. After eons, Sanada lets Hiromu go and heads to the top rope. He leaps off for his moonsault but Hiromu puts his knees up. Hiromu turns things around on Sanada hitting a Time Bomb for a two count. As Sanada goes to whip Hiromu off the ropes Hiromu collides with Red Shoes knocking him into the ropes.
Sanada lands a pop-up low-blow and a bridging suplex on Hiromu. Red Shoes is yanked out of the ring by Naito before he can make the three count. Kidd brings a steel chair into the ring. He swings at Hiromu. Naito blocks it and gives him a pop-up low-blow. LIJ double teams Sanada. Sanada kicks out of another Time Bomb. Sanada executes his moonsault on Hiromu…for a two count. Naito stops Sanada from using Death Bomb and nails Kidd with Destino. Sanada hits Naito and Hiromu with a Shining Wizard each. Hiromu uses his roll-up to pin Sanada out of nowhere.

NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi had enough of Evil during the Hiroshi Tanahashi, Toru Yano, Boltin Oleg, Jado and Tomoaki Honma versus HOUSE OF TORTURE (EVIL, Ren Narita, Yujiro Takahashi, SHO and Yoshinobu Kanemaru) match earlier in the evening. The Ace stomped and stomped Evil in a corner. The official actually has to pull Tanahashi off Evil. The Ace shoves the official.

The Ace attempts a Stinger Splash. Evil pulls the official in the way. House of Torture storms the ring knocking all of the faces off the apron. The House throws steel chairs into the ring. Each is brandishing their chosen weapon as they surround The Ace. Togo chokes The Ace with his garotte as Evil rushes him with a steel chair. The Ace kicks Evil away. He flips Togo. He wrestles the chair away from Evil smashing him across the back four or five times. He takes out other members of House of Torture with the chair as well. Once he has taken care of them he goes back to beating Evil with the chair over and over. The match is called.

The Ace continues smacking the chair over Evil’s back. When that chair breaks Yano hands The Ace another chair so he can continue the assault. When Evil is knocked out The Ace grabs him by the hair screaming something into his face. Later, The Ace takes another chair heading to the floor to beat Evil some more. Officials and Young Lions step in to hold him back. The Ace faces Evil at Wrestle Kingdom in a Lumberjack match. If Evil wins, The Ace will retire from in-ring action.

A fan in the audience sitting near the rail stands up and confronts Kenta as he makes his entrance. He stands up and tells Kenta to do something physically impossible for anyone to do. All three members of LIJ drop kick Gedo. Kenta breaks up an attempted pinfall. Shingo throws Kenta out of the ring. Bushi dives out of the ring hitting Owens knocking him into the ringside barricade. Tsuji pins Gedo with a curb stomp.
