AEW has announced that social media sensation Andrew Befumo Jr., also known as Big Boom AJ, was injured at Full Gear.
AJ wrestled Q.T. Marshall, who also trained him for the match.
“Big BOOM! @ajbefumo suffered a broken foot but managed to fight valiantly and earn the victory in his #AEW debut in front of his son, #BigJustice, friend #TheRizzler,” posted AEW on X.
AEW wished him well.
“AEW looks forward to welcoming Big BOOM! A.J., Big Justice and the whole Costco Guys crew back anytime, and we wish him a speedy recovery,” stated the promotion in a statement.
A.J. and Big Justice (The Costco Guys) are American social media celebrities but AJ wrestled in the nineties and early 2000’s.
