World Tag League Update: The Champ goes down

Unfortunately, New Japan World is having some technical issues posting today’s event but here is a brief report of tonight’s show.

The shocker this evening was that Wrestle Kingdom challenger Shota Umino might have very well proved that he is deserving of his title match against IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, Zack Sabre Jr. In the World Tag League tournament match between Shota Umino and Tomoaki Honma against Zack Sabre Jr. and Ryohei Oiwa, Umino pinned Sabre with his Death Rider shocking everyone at the Yokohama Budokan.

At the end of the event it is Bishamon and United Empire tied with four points at the top of the block.
