iMPACT: Moose sets his eyes on the X-Division

Greetings and salutations! It’s Thursday and that means that it’s time for TNA iMPACT. This week we have a wrestling heavy show as Speedball Mike Bailey defending the X-Division Championship against Moose. We will also see Rosemary taking on NXTs Wendy Choo, and we’ll see Masha Slamovich teaming up with Jordynne Grace, who made the impact at the 2300 arena btw, take on Alisha Edwards and Tasha Steelz. With all this and so much more, let’s get to the show.


The show starts with a recap of last week’s show and we get right into the action.


Masha Slamovich and Jordynne Grace VS Alisha Edwards and Tasha Steelz


Steelz and Grace kick things off and Grace takes control of the match early on. Slamovich picks up where Grace left off, taking it to Steelz. Slamovich with some heavy chops, and then tags Grace back in and the two hit a big double-team side-slam for a 2-count. Grace goes for the Vader Bomb from the top ropes, but Edwards knocks her off the ropes, and Steelz hits a huge Back-Stabber to get momentum on their side. Edwards comes in, neck brace-and-all, and locks in the Camel Clutch on Grace. Grace escapes and dumps Steelz. Grace with the tag to Slamovich who dominates the match until Edwards makes herself known to take the heat off Steelz.

Steelz hits the double-knees lung-blower on Slamovich and Grace gets the tag in. Grace is looking for the Juggernaut Driver, but Steelz evades it and hits a Crucifix Bomb for the 2-count thanks to a break from Slamovich. Edwards tags in and hops on Grace’s back with a sleeper hold, but Grace makes the tag to Slamovich, who slaps a standing rear naked choke on Edwards’ neck, with the neck brace and gets a fast tap out.

Winners: Masha Slamovich and Jordynne Grace


Savannah Evans is backstage with Gia Miller and Evans says she took out Lei Ying Lee last week because she’s tired of waiting for opportunities and now she will make them.


No-Disqualification: Rosemary vs. Wendy Choo


Choo has her loaded pillow, while Rosemary has her cane. Choo beats down Rosemary in the corner and hits a big leaping elbow drop for an early 2-count. Choo hits a running kick to Rosemary. Rosemary is hung in a tree of woe position laying over the ropes. Choo hits a Dropkick to send her to ringside.

Choo grabs the giant pillow, but Rosemary reaches over and steals it AND evenpulling Choo face-first into the steel ring post. At the commentary desk, Rosemary chokes Choo with a cord. Choo bashes away at Rosemary with her trusted pillow.

Rosemary is in control again and locks Choo in a full nelson, followed by a Mandible Claw. Choo bites her way out, but Rosemary hits her finisher and grabs the cane and bashes away at Choo for the win.

Winner: Rosemary


Steve Maclin is backstag and he says that Josh Alexander is nothing but a coward and he’s finally shown his true colors. Steve Maclin says Alexander didn’t beat because HE is bulletproof and that things between them are far from over.

Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel are shown talking amongst themselves backstage about how there’s always another obstacle in front of them but they will prevail.


Joe Hendry comes out on the stage and introduces a song he wrote about Ryan Nemeth and challenges him to a match next week.

Mike Santana is leaving the arena when First Class shows up. AJ Francis says he has nothing but respect for him and he knows he’s trying to do things as a lone wolf but it is always good to have friends. Santana says he came into TNA with his own mission and he just went through The System all by himself. He says he doesn’t need them. Francis tells Navarro he wants him to take care of Santana as he’s not happy.


Jody Threat VS Heather By Elegance


Heather kicks things off but Threat fights back and hits a series of Clotheslines to Heather in the corner.  Ash grabs Threat from ringside, and Heather hits a tTornado DDT for a 2-count. Heather continues to dominate for a few minutes and then Threat fires up for a comeback. Ash hops on the ring apron, but Luna trips her up.Threat hits an F5 for the win.

TNA X-Division Championship: Speedball Mike Bailey (c) VS Moose


Moose goes for his Go To Hell, but Bailey moves out of the way and Moose crashes onto ringside. Bailey goes out and hits some chops on Moose, then sends him to the ring post. They continue to brawl outside of the ring and Bailey goes fora kick, but this time its Moose who moves out of the way causing Bailey to hit the ring post. Moose slams Bailey onto the ring apron

Back in the ring and Moose controls the match. Moose tosses Bailey to the floor at ringside again. After some time, Bailey hits a Poisonrana off the ropes to Moose, followed by a Ultimo Weapon for a 2.9-count. Moose slowly gets up and charges at Bailey to hit a Spear. Moose charges for a third Spear, but Bailey side-steps it and rolls-up Moose for a 2-count. Moose kicks out and hits Bailey with a spear in mid-air then hits a giant fourth Spear for the win to become the new TNA X-Division Champion.

Winner: AND NEW X-Division Champion; Moose

After the match, Trent Seven is out and helps Bailey up until he low-blows him then hits a Seven-Star Lariat. Seven uses his towel to choke up Bailey to end the show.
