NXT beats a stagnant Dynamite again

This week’s NXT show didn’t have any big names from the main roster, no special guest stars. What many have said would be a “regular episode”, a true audience number since its move to the CW.

Without any main roster stars though NXT, WWE’s development brand, beat AEW’s flagship show in overall viewership for the third week in a row.

This week Dynamite pulled in 637,000 overnight viewers and 0.19 in the key demos.

Basically, that lines up with the ratings last week which were 633,000 overnight viewers and 0.20 in the key demos.

This week NXT brought in 702,000 overnight viewers and 0.16 in the key demos.

So, while Dynamite’s key demos are slightly higher than NXT’s the actual number of eyeballs, viewers has been lower.

One of those weeks though Dynamite was on Tuesday night, not its usual time slot. While there is always a drop off when a show moves to another time or another channel for a week or two, AEW lost 351,000 viewers that week from the previous week. That amounted to 51.93%.

NXT’s Halloween Havoc event airs live this Sunday from Hershey, Pennsylvania. The main event will feature Trick Williams putting the NXT Championship on the line against former champion Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground match.
