It was a wild night of Raw. Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed opened the show with a chaotic scene. Punches, suitcases, and security guards were thrown. The hilarity, intentional or not, of seeing a security guard take a flip bump onto the stage broke me.
Bronson and Seth showed up a couple more times throughout the night and eventually Pearce agreed to let them fight at Crown Jewel. I like this feud. Rollins needed a fresh face to work with and Bronson needed a veteran main eventer to elevate him.
The Final Testament is usually a black hole in the middle of the show, but there was so much going on in their segment that they were barely noticeable. AOP not only lost the match, but they also sold most of the match, and then got beaten up by the Wyatts afterwards. This included Uncle Howdy putting a mandible claw on an elderly man. I know he is technically a heel, but what has Ellering done to deserve that punishment?
Even with that criticism, the crowd did pop for the Wyatts and seemed happy with the segment. I will say, it moved along, like the rest of the show, at a good pace. Xavier Woods participated in this segment as well and held Kofi back from saving R-Truth. The Woods heel turn is starting to cook as the kids say.
Raquel Rodriguez spent most of the tag match selling for Damage CTRL. Then afterwards, she no-sells a headbutt from Rhea. She was beaten up by two women who weight fifty pounds less than her, but then no-sells a headbutt from the star. Yes, that seems backwards. If they want to recreate the Shawn Michaels – Diesel dynamic, the writers should watch the progression of that relationship, because this jumped a few steps.
The main event was the best part of the show. That is not faint praise either, because it was a good show. Jey had an out with the Bloodline’s interference. Breakker may also have an issue brewing since he speared Solo.
Show open
Seth Rollins jumped Bronson Reed from behind to start the show. He then walked out to the ring and called out Bronson. Adam Pearce and security were coming out to get Rollins, but in the background one of the security guards, hilariously, did a flip bump onto the stage. The idea was that Bronson had thrown the guy. I do not know if that was intentional comedy, but that was funny.
It was chaos after that. Reed ended up on the security barriers around the ring, one of the security guards ended up on his back and Reed just threw him into the rest of the guards. Bronson tried a splash through the table, but Seth moved.

Security finally got the two men out of the ringside area. The announcers had to open the show without their table. Lillian Garcia was introduced as the ring announcer.
Damage CTRL were doing a promo and Liv Morgan interrupted. While she was talking Damage CTRL just stood there next to them. After some back and forth, Damage CTRL challenged Liv and Raquel to a match. I am sure this one was intentional, but Damage CTRL standing there made me laugh.
Authors of Pain vs. The New Day
Tokka and Rahzar got their monthly match on TV. Tokka sold for the first part of the match, which I would suggest was not the best of ideas. Kross, Scarlett, and Paul Ellering were all at ringside. Then Miz appeared as well, and it was starting to look like an AEW pre-show match in both talent and numbers.
Back from break, Rahzar was selling for Woods and Kingston. It looked as bad as that sounds.
R-Truth showed up and distracted Rahzar by beating up Miz. Kofi rolled Rahzar up for the pin. So, AOP had four people at ringside and still lost.
Winners: The New Day
After the match, The Final Testament beat up R-Truth and Woods kept Kofi from coming back to save Truth. Then, lights out, the Wyatts are back. They beat up the Final Testament, who just lost the match, until Miz was left alone in the ring. Uncle Howdy came after him, but Ellering got in the way. And, our hero, Uncle Howdy, gave a senior citizen the mandible claw.
Damage CTRL vs. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez
Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend were back at ringside. Raquel started the match and sold for both members of Damage CTRL. I am not sure what sense it made for the bodyguard to get beaten up for most of the match, but whatever.
Eventually, Iyo ended up hitting Jakara. Lash retaliated which led to the no contest finish. Lash and Jakara laid out Damage CTRL and stared down Raquel and Liv. Rhea Ripley’s music played, and Lash and Jakara were excited about the music. Okay, are they heels or babyfaces?
Winners: No contest
American Made vs. LWO
Good match. Dragon Lee got the pin after a frog splash.
Winners: LWO
Bron Breakker vs. Jey Uso – Intercontinental Title
After some back and forth action, The Bloodline showed up at ringside. Solo and Jacob had tickets in their hands.
It was not long until the Bloodline intervened in the match. While Solo jawed with Jey, Breakker hit a spear on Solo. This brought Jacob over the barricade. He faced off with Bron, which popped the crowd. I will admit I had goosebumps.
Jacob Fatu attacked Jey while security was taking away the Tongans. Breakker took advantage and won with the spear.
Winner: Bron Breakker
