As a result of the lawsuit brought against AEW by Kevin Kelly and the Tate Twins an interesting tidbit has been revealed about the wrestling promotion.
Wrestlenomics reports that “A corporate disclosure statement filed by AEW confirms that the parent company of All Elite Wrestling LLC is Beatnik Investments LLC.”
Who or what exactly is Beatnik Investments?
It is Tony Khan, his sister Shanna Khan and a Thomas Clarkson. The company is LLC (a limited liability company). The purpose of that company is to “protect the assets of its owners from lawsuits and creditors concerned with the company’s business debts.”
Another words, the difference between an LLC and a partnership is that an LLC separates the business assets of the company from the personal assets of the owners, insulating the owners from the LLC’s debts and liabilities.
It is also stated that no other company owns more than 10% which means that Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) owns less than that.
