This weeks show is coming to you just days after an explosive Emergence last Friday which saw JBL whispering sweet little nothings into Nic Nemeth’s ear to end the show. Will we find out more about what was said? This week’s show will also feature an open challenge for the Knockouts Championship as Jordynne Grace will face an unknown opponent from anywhere. With all of this and more, let’s get straight to the action.

This week’s edition of TNA iMPACT starts with a rundown of last weeks iMPACT and Emergence shows…

The System kick it off

The System is out and Alisha Edwards really wants to be sure that the crowd is ready to hear what she has to say. Eddie Edwards says everyone wants to see a System failure, but The System does not fail. Eddie continues on by saying that The System needed a reboot and now they’re ready to take back all of their gold. Brian Myers says as the former tag team champions they are contractually obligated for a rematch and they are going to use that clause at Victory Road against ABC.

JDC tells everyone to shut up as Moose takes the mic and says the same. Moose then says he his the face of TNA and he has something to say. Moose says in two weeks Nic Nemeth has to face the man he’s never beaten and we are all looking at the future four-time TNA World Champion.

JDC is then told that if he wins their tag match, he’s part of the system! BUT, if he loses then he’s out.  Alisha says if the doctors won’t clear her to compete she’ll find a substitute to defend the Knockouts Tag Team Titles. Spitfire comes out and yell things at Alisha. Jody Threat says they talked to Santino and they have a title shot at Victory Road, but if they lose, Spitfire breaks up as a team.

Backstage, Gia Miller is with Eric Young. She asks him how he’s feeling after fighting Steve Maclin at TNA Emergence. Young says he got one over on him, but he’s a guy he respects and he has his back no matter what. Miller asks how he feels about tonight’s match with Jake Something. Young says they have history and he’s a bad dude, but he’s going to represent and win.

footage is shown of JBL’s appearance at the end of TNA Emergence, where he whispered something into Nic Nemeth’s ear. Hannifan says JBL left the building as soon as the show ended and Nemeth hasn’t told anyone what JBL said to him.

KUSHIDA gets Alexander in an Ankle Lock of his own and then hits a German suplex. KUSHIDA stomps on the fingers of Alexander and pounds away on Alexander’s chest with Kicks. fKUSHIDA is looking for an Arm-bar, but Alexander is able to fight it off. KUSHIDA looks for the Hover Board Lock, but Alexander avoids it and takes over on offense. Alexander uses shirt as a weapon to choke KUSHIDA until the referee gets rid of it. New X-Division champion Zachary Wentz is outt and says the fans don’t know how much being champ means to him. Wentz says that he is now experiencing the highest of highs as the X-Division Champion. Speedball Mike Bailey is out and congratulates him on his title win at Emergence. Bailey says that championship means he’s the best of the best, but he’s using his rematch clause at Victory Road.

Steph De Lander chats with Cardona

Steph De Lander is out and says that Matt Cardona ruined her wedding and her honeymoon and calls him out to the ring. Matt Cardona comes to the ring and De Lander asks him what’s going on after everything they’ve been through together. Matt Cardona says he owes her an apology and from the bottom of his heart he’s sorry that he didn’t crash the wedding sooner and that he let her marry that freak PCO. Steph De Lander says Cardona can’t speak to her that. Cardona says that he picked De Lander from obscurity and then proceeds to list out everything he has done for her and reminds her that she signed a contract so De Lander is owned by him.

De Lander says Cardona did help her a lot and she thanks him for that but she worked hard too. De Lander says she got herself into TNA without him and she knows she’s a superstar with or without him and that contract she signed means nothing. (as she rips and crumbles it up.)

Cardona says everyone has a copy of that contract and her ruining that one does nothing. De Lander starts to cry and then PCO comes to the ring. Cardona hides behind De Lander and then runs away.
