Odyssey Jones’ current status with the WWE has fans and the media very confused.
Jones’ bio has been removed from the WWE’s official site and he was not seen on Raw despite him being in one of its lead storylines, angles for weeks.
New Day’s Kofi Kingston was on yesterday’s edition of Raw though. He pestered Adam Pearce for a tag team title match against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on behalf of himself and Xavier Woods. No mention of Odyssey Jones.
Recently, Jones was part of a storyline involving the New Day with Kofi throwing his support behind the New Day fan and Woods being far more sceptical despite Jones assisting New Day in their feud against The Final Testament.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports: “I’m relatively certain he’s done but it has not been confirmed anywhere, I’ve heard a bunch of stories but nothing that I would I’d say is confirmed, but it looks like he’s no longer with the company. His angle’s done, no mention on the show, no clips on like if he’s injured or something, no acknowledgement of him at all. You know Kofi Kingston was on and there’s no acknowledgment of what they’ve been doing. So he’s off, he’s gone.”
Jones doesn’t appear on the WWE alumni roster page and the WWE hasn’t made any kind of announcement.
