Artem Chingvintsev, the husband of Nikki Bella and former Dancing With The Stars pro, has been arrested for and charged with domestic battery (violence) in Napa County, Calif.
Chingvintsev was arrested this morning. His bail is set at $25,000. No other details have been released. The couple’s $1.5 million Napa estate was featured on MTV Cribs in 2023.
The arrest occurred just two days after the couple celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary. The couple has a four-year-old son named Matteo. The victim has told police they wish to remain anonymous as the case is investigated.
The couple met when they were partnered during Dancing With The Stars in 2017. Their wedding was featured in the E! channel special: Nikki Bella Says I Do.

A month ago, Chigvintsev was accused of abuse while participating in the 2012 season of Strictly Come Dancing in Britain by his dance partner Fern Britton.
“He (Chigvintsev) would look at my feet and just kick me or shove me,” she told The Huffington Post UK.
She added: “He was like, ‘Shut your face. Go home before I kill you.’”
A source also told The Sun he would mock her weight too.
“Artem made jokey comments that they would have a better chance of winning if she lost some weight. But she didn’t find it funny,” said a source.
