PWInsider.com is reporting that the Hardy Boys had a meeting with WWE officials in Cleveland, Ohio, ahead of SummerSlam.
The Hardys were in town appearing at Destination WrestleCon convention. Matt Hardy is also taking on Nick Gage at Game Changer Wrestling’s Now and Forever tonight.
“No word on what was discussed, but we have also heard some content was filmed to be rolled out via WWE digital as well,” writes Mike Johnson.
Although they have been appearing in TNA as of late both Matt and Jeff are free agents. The Hardys were both offered the same deal by AEW but allowed their contracts to expire in the spring.
