Ren Narita and David Finlay’s G1 match tonight turned into a battle of the shillelagh versus the push-up bar. Narita had Finlay in an abdominal stretch. Finlay reached the ropes but Narita wouldn’t let go until the official pulled him off. Yoshinobu Kanemaru jumped up on the apron spitting whiskey in Finlay’s eyes. Narita only scored a two count though.

Finlay shoved Kanemaru into Narita. Finlay grabbed his shillelagh hitting Kanemaru in the head with it. Narita punched Finlay in the “lower abdomen” so he could retrieve his push-up bar.
Finlay swung and swung hitting Narita until he dropped the bar. Finlay smashed Narita in the head with his shillelagh. Gedo rolled the official back into the ring. Finlay gave Narita two buckle bombs and a powerbomb for the three count.
