AEW superstar Konosuke Takeshita, who seems to have been banished to NJPW since he complained about his booking in the promotion, has lost his first match in this year’s G1 Climax tournament. Takeshita was defeated by Yuya Uemura and that win has propelled Uemura to the top of B Block. Uemura survived a German Suplex to stop Takeshita’s World Class Elbow with backslide for a two count. Uemura held onto Takeshita who was head butting him over and over. Uemura pushed Takeshita into a corner using the momentum to deliver a Death Bolt, bridging suplex for the pinfall.

Phantasmo head butts Tsuji off the top rope. Phantasmo goes for Thunder Kiss. Tsuji puts his knees up to block it. Phantasmo rolls up Tsuji.

Finlay blocks Streets of Rage and pins Henare with Overkill.
