Lashley and MVP leaving WWE?

Reports are circulating that Bobby Lashley and MVP could be leaving WWE. Neither have been seen on WWE television in quite some time.

PWI states that MVP’s contract ends in the middle of August. When it comes to Lashley “there was a WWE contract offer made but it wasn’t one that immediately made him “jump to sign” as one source commented and that Lashley has strongly considered seeing what he would be worth out on the market”.

It seems that WWE could be letting the contracts of both superstars expire. If so, the MVP, Lashley and Shelton Benjamin could be in the unique situation of all being available at the same time although they could not call themselves The Hurt Business because that name is trademarked by WWE.

Lashley hasn’t wrestled for WWE since may when he defeated Santos Escobar at house show. The last time he was on WWE television was in December when lost to LA Knight and Santos Escobar in a triple threat match on Smackdown.

MPV has been very vocal on social media about WWE creative, HHH in particular, not wanting to reestablish or reform The Hurt Business in WWE.
