This week’s edition of NXT had more eyeballs tuned to it than AEW Dynamite did.
AEW brought in 681,000 overnight viewers with a key demo of 0.23. Last week, AEW had 790,000 overnight viewers and 0.28 in the key demos. That’s a 13% drop in viewership in one week and is concerning since MJF is back in the fold and the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door event is just a few weeks away.
NXT, with an appearance by Cody Rhodes, drew 718,000 viewers this week with a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demo.
What is interesting is that last week NXT drew 768,000 overnight viewers and a 0.22 in the key demos.
AEW’s 10 week average has been 755,000 overnight viewers and a key demo of 0.25.
NXT’s 10 week average is 648,900 and a key demo of 0.19.
