BOTSJ Update: Aswang takes TJP to the semi-finals

The A Block entrants took centerstage on night eleven of the Best of the Super Juniors. El Desperado finished at the top of the block and is through to the semi-finals as is TJP who finished second overall in A Block. It will be Hiromu Takahashi versus Taiji Ishimori in B Block semi-finals.

TJP called upon his Aswang demon character to face Titan. In the final moments of the match, Titan hit his springboard stomp and it looked like the match was over but TJP kicked out shocking everyone in attendance. The kick out was so forceful Titan landed on the official inadvertently taking him out. Titan climbed to the top rope for yet another stomp. TJP spit the red mist into his eyes. A blinded Titan kicked out of a running knee strike and a Mamba Splash. TJP finally pinned Titan with a running knee strike to the back of the head.

Best of the Super Juniors – Night Eleven Results

A Block: Yoshinobu Kanemaru versus Clark Connors

Connors snap suplexed Kanemaru on the arena floor as they battled in the stands. As they raced to beat the count Kanemaru threw a Young Lion into Connors. Kanemaru beat Connors back into the ring.

Winner: Yoshinobu Kanemaru by count-out.

A Block: BUSHI versus Kevin Knight

Bushi is already out of the tournament. Knight is dumped over the top rope by Bushi. He lands on his right knee. Knight is in agony. Bushi drop kicks the knee from the top rope and makes Knight submit to a figure four.

Winner: Kevin Knight

A Block: TJP versus Titan

Winner: TJP

A Block: Blake Christian versus Kosei Fujita

Fujita pins Christian with his Abandon Hope finisher.

A Block: HAYATA versus El Desperado 

Desperado pins Hayata with a Pinche Loco.

Mack pins Kato with an atomic drop, super kick and his Phoenix 630 Splash.

DOUKI and TAKA Michinoku versus Robbie Eagles and Zack Sabre Jr. 

Sabre puts Taka away with a Zack Driver.

Naito blasts Gedo with a reverse atomic drop, a kick to the head and Takagi pins him with a Pumping Bomber.

SHO and Yujiro Takahashi versus Callum Newman and HENARE 

Newman takes out Sho on the floor with a splash. Henare pins Yujiro with the Streets of Rage slam.
