Audio issues and perhaps competition from the NBA playoffs hammered AEW Dynamite’s ratings this week.
The broadcast only scored 683,000 viewers with a key demo rating of 0.23.
Last week, Dynamite brought in 762,000 viewers and a 0.26 in the key demos.
Tony Khan had this to say about the audio problems which plagued the show:

NXT scored 661,000 viewers, 0.20 in the key demos this week.
Wednesday wasn’t a great night for AEW in general. Besides the audio problems a media report from AEW’s homebase of Jacksonville stated that the promotion sent out a call earlier in the day to bring in 50 seat fillers for Dynamite and Collision this weekend.
