A spa owner has taken to Facebook claiming that former WWE superstar Lars Sullivan threatened her over the phone.
Marissa Elliott claims that she even though she blocked him on Instagram months ago and reported his comments, he took the time to dig up her contact information.
“Some right wing nut that I blocked on Instagram months ago, called my spa and left a profanity filled threatening voicemail directed at me,” she wrote.
Elliott went on to state that the “gentleman” forgot to block his number when he called so she called him back.
“I called him back and laughed at him while he made threats against me, and called me every disparaging slur you can call a woman. He was especially triggered that I am in support of a ceasefire,” wrote Elliott.
Elliott termed him as a “washed up pro wrestler “.
“I wonder how many other women he has harassed over the years…Dude is a JOKE, and clearly unhinged. He hated that I laughed at him when I called him back,” she wrote revealing his phone number.
She replied to one of the comments: “It was the craziest most unhinged phone call I’ve ever taken part in. He’s off his rocker.”
In 2019, it was revealed that Sullivan made racist, sexist and homophobic remarks under two different accounts on a bodybuilding forum such as:
“Not be racist, but it seems like white people are more willing to take responsibility of their own lives than blacks and Hispanics, who are all for government hand outs.”
“Kofi Kingston and R-Truth look like they could be in a prison black gang.”
At the time, Sullivan issued a statement saying: “There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago. They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended.”
The WWE also issued a public statement: “WWE supports a culture of inclusion regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation, and we are committed to embracing all individuals as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide. Dylan Miley (aka Lars Sullivan) will be fined $100,000 and required to complete sensitivity training for offensive commentary uncovered from his past. WWE will also facilitate meetings for Dylan with community organizations to foster further discussion around the power of social media and the impact of your words.”
In 2021, Sullivan parted ways with WWE stating that he was suffering from anxiety issues but not before other women accused him of harassing them on Instagram.
Shortly after he left WWE it was reported that Sullivan starred in gay adult films under the name Mitch Bennett with one clue being Bennett and Sullivan shared similar tattoos.
