Fightful Select is reporting that another NXT superstar was sent packing last week.
Last week it was announced that Jinder Mahal, Xia Li, Xyon Quinn, Veer and Sanga were let go.
Now word is that Von Wagner is no longer with WWE or NXT either.
WWE releasing the first group wasn’t met with a lot of surprise because everyone on that list hadn’t been featured on television for some time except Mahal who was in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the Smackdown before WrestleMania.
Von Wagner, however, was just part of a storyline involving Robert Stone and Lexis King. Stone lost his grudge match against King which sparked a rift between friends Stone and Wagner.
Von Wagner tried to avenge Stone but ended up losing to King on the April 2nd edition of NXT. That was he last match with the company.
Von Wagner is Calvin Bloom, the son of Wayne Bloom (Beau Beverly).
