Just weeks before WrestleMania one of WWE’ Women’s Tag Team Champions could be on the disabled list.
Reports indicate that Asuka was injured during Dakota Kai’s match with Bayley on Smackdown.
It isn’t clear what even happened to Asuka. She wasn’t part of the match. One minute she is jumping up and down with the rest of Damage Control on camera at ringside. The next, she shown standing up, getting back on her feet and limping around the ring to set up the end of the match.
Asuka then hobbles into the ring obviously not trying to put too much weight on her left leg. During the post-match attack she was seen limping around the ring.
Asuka was pulled from last weekend’s house shows as the extent of her injury is assessed.
Asuka is one-half of the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Kairi Sane.
