The New Japan Cup semi-finals are set. It will be Sanada facing Hirooki Goto and Evil against rising star Yota Tsuji.
Tsuji defeated Ren Narita to move ahead in the tournament. Narita comes to the ring in his weird-ass cape again. Someone ought to tell him he looks like a goof in it.
Narita attacked Tsuji before the bell even rings and before Tsuji can get his jacket off. Tsuji turns things around by whipping Narita into the ringside barricade. As they head back into the ring Narita bails and plays cat, mouse on the floor. Narita knocks Tsuji off the apron and into the barricade. Narita slams Tsuji’s head into a concrete wall on the floor and throws him into the ringside seats as fans flee. Narita beats and chokes Tsuji with a steel chair. When the official wrestles one chair away from Narita he just picks up another to wail away on Tsuji.
Narita reaches for his workout bar as Tsuji is charging across the ring at him. The official takes the bar away. Tsuji knocks Narita off the apron and into the barricade. As the official puts the bar away behind the announce table Tsuji charges again. Narita hits Tsuji with a steel chair in the head.
As Tsuji goes for his spear yet again Narita pulls the referee in the way. Narita attacks Tsuji with a steel chair. The House of Torture hits the ring stomping Tsuji. Bushi and Takahashi race out to help Tsuji. They clear the ring. Narita takes a swing at Tsuji with his workout bar. Tsuji punches him in the gut. Narita low-blows Tsuji but Tsuji rolls him up for the win anyways. House of Torture stomp and kick Tsuji. Just as Evil is about to label a helpless Tsuji with a steel chair out comes Evil’s opponent Shingo Takagi. Takagi takes down Evil and Narita with shoulder tackles.
Once the ring has cleared of all of the House and LiJ, Shingo calls for the match to start. Red Shoes agrees and calls for the bell. Shingo just batters Evil with combination shots in a corner and a suplex for a two count. Shingo throws Evil into ringside barricade after ringside barricade. Evil though rams Shingo into a barricade which knocks over the timekeeper’s table.
Evil screams at Shingo on the house microphone as he bashes him with it in the head. The House of Torture is all over Shingo when he tossed through the ropes to the floor. With the official warning The House of Torture on the floor Evil chokes Shingo with a t-shirt. The House piles a bunch of steel chairs on top of each other on the floor. Evil tries to suplex Shingo onto them but Shingo reverses things bringing Shingo down on the steel.
Evil lands awkwardly in the ring. He falls to the mat claiming his knee is injured. Shingo runs in with a Pumping Bomber. Evil pulls in the official. The House attacks fighting off Bushi and Takahashi. Gedo hits his karate chop to the “lower abdomen” from the top rope. Shingo has Evil pinned with Made in Japan. The bell rings before the three count can be made. It is Dick Togo again ringing the bell. LiJ and The House battle in the ring taking each other out. Bushi goes to spit mist into Evil’s eyes. He blasts Shingo instead as Evil ducks. Kanemaru beats down Bushi and spits whiskey into Shingo’s eyes. Dick Togo throws powder into Shingo’s eyes. Evil pins Shingo with Everything is Evil.
