WWE faces Raw crisis, WWE Network to be shuttered outside of USA

As 2024 rolls on the WWE Network and Raw could be facing some massive changes.

In the case of the WWE Network word is the service outside of the USA will be shut down at the end of 2024, reports Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer believes that Netflix will be picking up that content.

“Now, will they pick up all the content, all the archives? I don’t know but they will be the sole source of that. The archival content of all the old territories and all the old stuff that was on the old WWE Network that will move to Netflix outside of the United States in January,” he stated.

In the United States, WWE Network will remain in operation on Peacock until 2026.

The WWE-Netflix deal will also have an affect on the short-term future of Raw.

With the USA Network opting not to extend their deal with the WWE beyond September of this year it is unknown what will happen to Raw for the tail-end of 2024.

“WWE told me they are going to make an announcement relatively soon about that. I guess they have something. What it is I don’t know,” said Meltzer..
