Everybody had One Shot to either impress, or lose their opportunity. Tom Lawlor lost during his match against MLW’s first World Heavyweight Champion Satoshi Kojima, a sight to behold.

What shocked me was how slanderous Alex Hammerstone was towards body positivity throughout the body building segment with Saint Laurent. He won and insulted Jacob Fatu, who rightfully pounced on him.

Matt Cardona was put down by Alex Kane for the Heavyweight Championship. It was such a mess to look at because of the constant interference. But the ultimate surprise of them all was the return of Richard Holliday. Richard, unfortunately, joined the World Titan Federation once Saint Laurent offered him an opportunity to face Kane for the Championship at Kings of the Colosseum next year. What a trip.

The best thing that came from Cardona losing was to witness Saint Laurent acting like a drunk, whiny idiot as we open the evening. Ha! Earlier tonight, Akira was attacked by The Calling. He may be badly hurt, yet he insists in proceeding with his upcoming match against former Tag Team partner and… friend, Rickey Shane Page for the National Openweight Championship.

Also, MLW Radio is coming in 2024.

Fusion Battle Royal

We have the likes of Mr. Thomas, O’Shay Edwards, a returning Kevin Blackwood, Matthew Justice, members of the World Titan Federation, Nolo Kitano, Tony Deppen, Love Doug, TJ Crawford and more.

Crawford is the first to be eliminated by Blackwood in a matter of seconds. Ha! Revenge is sweet. So sweet. TJ even tries to crawl back inside the ring, luckily, the official stopped him.

Due to his school girl crush on B3cca, Love Doug is wearing pink bandages around his face after that harsh beating he received from B3cca’s deranged boyfriend. That may be the case, but he’s doing great work out of Brett Ryan Gosselin.

Blackwood is targeting Deppen near the ropes, now that Crawford has been disposed of. Two superplexes is initiated in the corner as well. No one has been eliminated yet in a while until Yucifer El is taken out by Josh Bishop.

Love Doug and Brett Ryan Gosselin are also eliminated by Bishop. Commentary wanted them to be gotten rid of quickly. Ha! For some reason, Doug and Gosselin were slugging it out on the main floor just as Ichiban lands next to them.

Blackwood wipes out McCoy, then Deppen takes cares of Kevin. Karma is great as Tony meets his end at the hands of Mr. Thomas.

Nolo Kitano is sent to the outside. Now everyone notices who the real threat is in WTF as O’Shay and Mr. Thomas attack Bishop while Justice and Goodbrother Number 3 aka Mance Warner go for Lawlor.

Edwards just got knocked out by Bishop. Ha! Goodbrother Number 3 and Mr. Thomas are out, but Lawlor went under the bottom rope, so he must still be in the match. Unless, we’re not going to acknowledge that.

Justice and Bishop are the last two standing. While that’s happening, Goodbrother and Lawlor are fighting on the ground floor.

Bishop wins the Battle Royal by sending Justice crashing into an already well-placed table that MSL directed him towards. When was that set up? It wasn’t enough that he won, but Bishop had to assault Matthew as he was being stretched out by officials and medical.

Winner: Josh Bishop

Tis the season for blood as Fatu challenges Hammerstone on Dec 24 MLW Holliday Rush edition. The trilogy. Whoo! And the s0-called “perfect superhero” accepts.

Tiara James vs. Janai Kai (c) vs. Delmi Exo – 60 minute time limit World Featherweight Championship match

Kai swings and misses both James and Exo in the early goings of this match. Delmi has the current champ momentarily trapped in the corner, yet Janai fights on.

Tiara has Janai on her shoulders, preparing for a takedown that gets interrupted by Delmi’s sudden kick to her chest. They do work together as they suplex Janai.

James impresses with that swinging neck breaker to Kai after she thwarted the champ’s attempt at retaining. All women are down. Later on, Kai starts to unload with those striking kicks to her opponents.

Exo and James team up again to plant Janai, but Delmi was smart enough to not let Tiara win as she grabs ahold of her leg, and places her into the Boston Crab submission. That would have been sufficient enough to win the gold if it weren’t for Salina’s need to spray something in Delmi’s face.

Alas, James went to block her head from Janai’s incoming kick, yet she received the impact in her midsection awarding Kai the retaining victory.

Winner: Janai Kai

Because Matthew Justice was hurt during the Battle Royal, Goodbrother Number 3 has stepped in to assist 1 Called Manders in a World Tag Team Championship match against Alex Kane and Mr. Thomas at Holliday Rush. Another fight made official.

Nolo Kitano vs. Tony Deppen

An exchange of back and forth between Deppen and Kitano in the early stages of the match took over. Crawford and McCoy are standing at ringside supporting Tony. That suicide dive by Nolo performed was very well done. Right on the nose.

Kitano connects with a high knee kick to the face plus a back breaker. Deppen counters with a kick to the spine as well as that harsh powerbomb.

Nolo almost, almost had Tony by stacking him up on his neck, yet Deppen manages to remain in the fight. Kitano hits Deppen with a pele kick then reverses into a tornado DDT, but he couldn’t go into the cover because Tony rolled out of the ring in time.

Regardless, Nolo takes Tony and his friends down with that spinning suicide dive maneuver. Everything was going in Kitano’s favor for a little while until Deppen pulled the referee down on top of him, so Nolo could forcibly remove him, yet Kitano gets kicked in the crotch.

Tony secures the victory with a vicious knee to the back of the neck of Nolo. The night doesn’t end there, however. Deppen calls out Kevin Blackwood. It took a few seconds until Blackwood did show with a chair in hand, unfortunately, officials kept him at bay.

For now…

Winner: Tony Deppen

Well, this is a shock… I didn’t know that Brett Ryan Gosselin is B3cca’s boyfriend. I didn’t notice him at all. Ha! Ha! So, Love Doug and Gosselin will face each other at Kings of Colosseum on Jan 6 in a Love is Blind match. What?

But, my oh my, was Salina serious when she challenged Ichiban at Holliday Rush?? If Ichiban wins, he will finally get to fight Rocky Romero for the World Middleweight Championship.

TJ Crawford vs. Kevin Blackwood

As I said earlier, Blackwood is getting his revenge. The announcer wasn’t even done introducing Kevin when he rushed into the ring and delivered a clothesline to Crawford. Ha! Ha!

Blackwood has somewhat of an edge on TJ, yet Griffin McCoy tries to play interference. Crawford takes that opportunity to send a thunderous German suplex. Also, while Tony Deppen is on commentary, I’ll ignore him.

Crawford shoves Kevin into the turnbuckles as he bounces off of them in pain. Both McCoy and Crawford were so dumb in allowing themselves to get caught that the referee has decided to eject Griffin. Ha! Yay!

And, if he doesn’t leave in the next ten seconds, McCoy will be suspended infinitely.

As luck would have it, he left. Blackwood was able to pick up the win with the Aesthetic Crippler. Kevin will finally be able to fight Tony Deppen at Holliday Rush.

Winner: Kevin Blackwood

Following the conclusion to the Battle Royal, Matthew Justice has requested a match against Josh Bishop for Dec 24.

Akira vs. Rickey Shane Page (c) – National Openweight Championship match

The reasoning behind Rickey Shane Page turning on Akira, as far as I can tell, is because the Death Fighter couldn’t stand by Page’s new image for The Calling, stepping in as leader.

Akira wanted more, and was despised for it. So, prior to the bell ringing, the fight is already underway. Akira’s head and ribcage are wrapped up, but it doesn’t stop us from noticing the blood on his forehead.

Akira makes sure he goes after Rickey, keeping him on his toes throughout the beginning of this fight. Raven isn’t here and everything goes to hell. Ha! The Death Fighter delivers a beautiful back suplex, which stuns the champ.

Rickey uses his power to throw Akira across the ring like a sack of flour. Man. You can see the effects of how much that hurt on Akira’s face. Page continues to target the rib area. Fortunately, Akira fights back regardless of the agony with resilience.

Akira was looking for the Death Penalty, but Rickey counters with a DDT right on the temple and retains. But, did you really think it was over after that? Hell no. The Calling had Akira duct tapped to the second rope.

Page wants Akira to pay for turning his back on “his calling” as he buzzes his red hair off.

Winner: Rickey Shane Page
