Dynamite: We are hitting Full Gear on the Go-Home show to this weekends PPV

Greetings and salutations! This is the go-home show before Saturday’s Full Gear PPV. On this week’s show we will have The Like a Dragon Gaiden street fight that will feature Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Paul Wight, and Kota Ibushi teaming against Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher, and Brian Cage. The Young Bucks are still upset at Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega’s friendship. We will also have a face to face confrontation between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page. Will The Devil make an appearance? How will MJF address being at the top of the mountain? With such a stacked card, let’s get straight to the action.


Orange Cassidy & HOOK VS Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta


Orange Cassidy and HOOK start things off and take the fight to Moxley and Yuta as they made their entrance. All four men continue the fight throughout the arena. Mox and Cassidy break off into a fight of their own as HOOK and Yuta have one of their own. Eventually, the match starts with HOOK and Yuta. HOOK gets the early advantage in the match and tosses Yuta to Moxley’s feet. Moxley tags in and eats a Suplex from HOOK. The BCC double tam HOOK and cut him off from his partner, Cassidy. Cassidy comes into the match and dives onto Yuta while HOOK delivers a Suplex to Moxley. Cassidy continues to clear house until the Moxley and Yuta get the advantage again.

Moxley with a Superplex on Cassidy and continues a ground and pound game. Cassidy is able to mount a bit of a comeback and is able to tag HOOK back into the match. HOOK and Yuta fight and as HOOK is able to get the advantage, Moxley blindsides HOOK. Cassidy has had enough and attacks Moxley and connects with a Cutter, followed by a Orange Punch. Moxley with a kick and hits the Death Rider on HOOK while Yuta gets the pin for the win.

Winners: Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta

After the match, Jon Moxley says Orange Cassidy is nothing, and he will beat him at AEW Full Gear


Face To Face: Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page


Tony Schiavone lays out the rules and says that if either hits the other person then they will be suspended for the remainder of 2023 including their match at Full Gear this Saturday. Page gets things started and calls Strickland a fraud and coward. Hangman takes a dig at Strickland’s fiance leaving him and his kids not talking to him. Page adds that Prince Nana is just using him. Page says that he will make sure that Strickland spends an eternity in hell after he beats him at Full Gear. Hangman then attacks Prince Nana and security tries to stop it but they get laid out by Page.


Roderick Strong is with The Kingdom and he claims he knows who The Devil is. He calls Adam Cole and tells him The Devil is MJF but Cole shrugs him off and says that Strong might be The Devil and hangs up.


Winner joins TBS Title Match at Full Gear: Red Velvet VS Skye Blue


The match starts off 50/50 until Velvet kicks Blue hard. Blue comes right back with a DDT on the apron.  Both women are fighting at ringside and Velvet tosses Blue onto the Steel Steps. Back in the ring. Blue takes Velvet down and the two share pin combos and roll-ups. Velvet takes it to Blue as she delivers several Knees to her back. Blue rallies back and tries to go for a Code Blue, but Velvet counters it and hits her with a Skyfall for a 2-count.

Velvet continues with the momentum on her side and hits a Power Bomb. Velvet then hits a Superplex for another 2-count. The two are trading strikes and Blue hits a Knee on Velvet followed by a Code Blue and gets the win to book her ticket to Full Gear.

Winner: Sky Blue


Miro is backstage and says that CJ Perry brings out the worst in him. He then says that he will beat Daniel Garcia on Collision.

Mariah May is outside of Toni Storm’s locker room and she knocks on the door. Lutha answers and lets her in. May meets Storm and says she is a huge fan, and speaks highly of Storm. Storm says she is indisposed and demands a tune-up match before Full Gear.


Samoa Joe VS Jon Cruz


Cruz tries to attack Joe but Joe fights back and demolishes Cruz. Joe with a Clothesline and locks in the Coquina Clutch for the win.

Winner: Samoa Joe

After the match, Samoa Joe grabs a mic and calls out MJF. Joe reminds MJF of his offer for a partnership and says he is inevitable, whether MJF accepts his offer or not.


The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) VS Penta El Zero Miedo & Komander (with Alex Abrahantes)


After some fast paced action, The Bucks Superkick Miedo and Komander sending them to ringside. Nick follows it up with a dive onto them. Penta with a kick on Matt as Komander climbs the ropes and dives onto Matt. The Young Buckscome back and take over and put the boots on Komander until he pushes Nick off the top rope with not one but two Hurrucanranas.

With the Bucks at ringside, Penta dives on them both. Penta and Komander take full control of the match and hit a Made in Japan on Matt, but Nick broke up the pin. Matt with a Suplex on Komander and follows that up with a Northern Lights Suplex on both Penta and Komander. Penta and Nick continue the fight on the apron and Penta drops him with a Package Piledriver. Komander with a Destroyer and Penta with another slam for a 2-count.

The Bucks come right back and Nick hits Low Blows on both Komander and Penta, followed by a Judas Effect. The Bucks with a BTW Trigger for the win.

Winners: The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)

After the match, The Young Bucks are backstage and they say they don’t care about the rules. Kenny Omega shows up and the Bucks re-iterate that they dont have an issue with him. Jericho shows up and the Bucks are bothered. Jericho and The Bucks fight until they get separated.


The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn) (with Juice Robinson) VS Peter Avalon & Dean Alexander


The Gunns don’t give their opponents a chance for any offense as they hit the 3:10 to Yuma for the win.

Winners: The Gunns

The Gunns vow to beat MJF and win the ROH World Tag Team Championship at AEW Full Gear


Wardlow calls out MJF and vows to make The Devil “his bitch.” The Devil appears….


Like A Dragon Gaiden Street Fight: Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Kota Ibushi & Paul Wight VS The Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher) & Brian Cage


The match starts as Jericho is making his way out. There is a full brawl on the ramp. Wight chokeslams Fletcher off the entrance stage. Back in the ring, Ibushi and Omega double team Takeshita and pund him. Elsewhere, Wight and Hobbs brawl in the parking lot. Back in the ring, Omega hits Takeshita with a sign. At ringside, Jericho hits Cage with a crate.

Omega grabs a barbed wire bat on Takeshita. Ibushi hops onto a bike and is clobbered by Cage. Back in the parking lot, Hobbs with a huge slam on Wight ontop of a car. Takeshita takes on Jericho, Omega and Ibushi as he attacks them with a bike.

Jericho takes the fight with Takehsita into the crowd and throughout the arena as they end up in the concourse. Back in the ring. Omega and Ibushi double team Cage. In the cocourse, Takeshita with a DDT. Back in the ring, Fletcher slowly comes back and he joins Cage to take on Omega, but Omega with a huge Knee on Fletcher, followed by a Snap Dragon Suplex on Cage. Omega grabs a bottle and hits Fletcher over the head with it. Cage comes back and hits a clothesline on Omega.

Back on the concourse, Jericho uses a Fire Extinguisher on Takeshita. Back in the ring, Hobbs takes care of Omega and Ibushi. Omega and Cage fight back and forth and they crash through tables that were set up at ringside. Hobbs takes out Ibushi. Jericho is back in the ring and he and Hobbs battle with chairs but Hobbs Strength is too much, but Jericho outsmarts him and hits a Codebreaker. On the apron, Fletcher sets up Ibushi in a Piledriver and jumps from the apron onto a slew of chairs at ringside.

Jericho with a Judas Effect on Hobbs then he and Omega proceed to tape him to the ropes. Omega unloads on Hobbs with various weapons. Cage is back and takes out Jericho with a monster slam, but Omega with a Hurricanrana, followed by a V-Trigger, followed by a One-Winged Angel for the win.

MJF Speaks before Full Gear…


MJF addresses the attack on The Acclaimed. MJF feels bad as people close to him always get hurt and apologizes to them. MJF says that it is lonely at the mountain top and tons of people are waiting to toss him off. MJF says that he is afraid of losing it all but says itll take a whole army to get him off the top of the mountain. MJF then says that he will beat Jay White. MJF then vows to find out who The Devil is and there will be hell to pay.

Out comes Jay White. White tells MJF to stop acting tough and he embarrasses himself and tells him he is the real villain and isn’t fooling anyone. White reminds everyone that MJF used to call himself The Devil. White then calls out his henchmen who attack MJF. The Gunns hit a 3:10 to Yuma, followed by White hitting a Bladerunner. White then pins MJF as Juice Robinson plays ref and counts to 3. White, with the AEW title stand over MJF.

Samoa Joe looks on from backstage to end the show…
