It is not known if Cargill will begin in NXT or automatically be elevated to the main roster.
The WWE stated: “Cargill, a standout performer who has earned accolades as an industry-renowned talent, will begin training today at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.”
Cargill was the first TBS Champion in AEW and held the title for an astounding 508 days. Her reign is the longest for any AEW champion.
In 2019, Cargill attended a WWE try-out but wasn’t signed to a contract. She went on to train at The WWA4 Academy, the Face 2 Face Wrestling School and The Nightmare Factory before debuting in AEW in 2020.
