WWE superstar Matt Riddle is accusing JFK airport security of sexually assaulting him.
In an Instagram post Riddle had this to say:
“Nothing like being sexually assaulted by an officer and harassed at the jfk airport, no means no and just because I’m nice doesn’t mean yes!!! A****** !!! Don’t know they’re Twitter or instagram handles but I took pictures, normally I’m like whatever but today was really weird and uncomfortable and they made a point to make me feel small and useless. Definitely one of the most uncomfortable travel days I’ve ever had thanks NYC you’re so progressive and accepting!”.
However, an officer who was at the scene of the incident has come forward and told Ringside News that Riddle was intoxicated and uncompliant at the time.
“After a few attempts of de-escalating the situation and removing Matt from the area, it became physical,” the officer said.
The officer also accused Riddle of trying to use his status as a WWE superstar to manipulate the officers. The officer in charge at the scene advised Riddle to lodge a formal complaint but never did.
Riddle has since deleted his initial Instagram post.
Last year, Riddle reportedly failed multiple WWE wellness tests before SummerSlam and was given the option of leaving the company or attending a rehab program.
